OWERRI – Imo State Government has described as “most unfortunate and grossly embarrassing”, the attempt by members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to disrupt Governor Rochas Okorocha’s speech at the world-famous Chatham House, London, where he was invited to deliver a speech. According to a press statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, the government said it was worrisome that members of IPOB that have always given the impression that they are fighting for the course of Igbo, would decide to storm the Chatham House to cause trouble at an event the Governor honoured to deliver a speech on the way forward for our society. “Indeed, if IPOB apostles would embarrass an Igbo leader of Governor Okorocha’s status in London, then, their claim that they are fighting or agitating in the interest of Ndigbo should be taken with a pinch of salt by those who had hitherto, believed them”, Onwuemeodo reasoned. He further argued that all over the world, groups fighting for one reason or the other presumably for their people, do not loose sight of what certain leaders in the areas represent and accord them the needed respect, no matter what they hold against such leaders. “The IPOB action at Chatham House was not only embarrassing to Governor Okorocha as an Igbo leader, but also to Ndigbo in general both at home and in diaspora and indeed to all men and women of goodwill”, Onwuemeodo said.

I think the IPOB were just disgruntled and saw Okorocha as a traitor for aligning with APC and the sworn enemies of Biafra, the North.

Thought some ppl said d guy didnt achieve his aim. U can see how d govt felt pained by dat action. If only our leaders will be made to know how really people feel about them then dia wud be over millions of such drama episodes but they are rather surrounded by sycophants who only praise sing them to destruction. All d guy pointed out in dat video is dat Rochas nonchalant disposition to d killing of unarmed protesters makes him a culpable murderer and Okorocha while asking d guy u know who I am forgot this is not Nigeria wia ppl are intimidated by political positions. Rochas was lucky season one ended without a slap. Next time he remembers jetting out he ll be more careful. The message is to tell him he is not our leader as he is seen more as a sell out. How can Rochas settle Ohaneze rift and now want them to midwife negotiation for d Ipob and expect ppl to believe he is being sincere. He shd further be reminded dat Igbo is only a part of Ipob and just like d Arab Spring dat guy has shown a template of how to punish our egocentric leaders outside d shores of Nigeria wia an egalitarian system is d order of d day and far away from d Daura Secret Service

Mr onwuemeodo or whatever you call yourself, you can see that your insincerity knows no bound. The case of Biafra is either you are for us or you are against us. There is no sitting on the fence. Everybody must clearly show on which side of the divide he is. What happened to your principal is just a tip of the iceberg, it is a sign of bigger things that will happen to him unless he respects himself and stop playing saboteur's role.

Mr Solomon Arase the Inspector-General of Police (IG), has come out to say that the over the few years, the Nigeria Police Force had spent over N600 million on the procurement and maintenance of foreign dogs. Accoeding to the TG of Police, the Police Sniffer-dogs Arase made the disclosure at the inauguration of the Police Dog Breeding Centre and Ultra Modern Mounted Troop in Abuja on Thursday.
He said “This is certainly not sustainable in the face of the current dwindling resources,”he said. The IG went ahead to state that so much money was being spent on the importation of dogs from foreign countries that rarely adapted to the country’s policing objective.

While speaking to newsmen on Thursday, said that the sniper Dog projects inaugurated were funded within the budgetary provisions of the Force Animal Branch. Mr Arase said that the force animal branch had remained underutilised in the past while the force continued to rely on importation of dogs and other animals for its operations. According to him the siper dog center was built to aid the police acquire capacity to locally breed police dogs as well as support other security agencies in the country to fish out criminal activities within the Nation.

There is no better proof that iPork is an arm of PDP than what happened at Chatam House. Why pick on just Okorocha of ALL the Igbo leaders, senators, HoR members, and all other political office holders in the SE?? It is simply because he's a member of APC and nothing else.

iPork is a propaganda machine of PDP- it is simply TAN rebranded.
