What do mean by that? Can't you read very well. Better go to their site to see for yourself and try to note the commencement date of the new plan

Spectranet dey vex oo
They even started the new plan without waiting until 15th March as advertised. Maybe someone somewhere is seriously looking for how to recoup embezzled fund. Shame!

If u think Spectranet is too expensive then u don't even wanna near smile. Though very fast but it is not cheap.

I had ordered my spectranet today only to discover this increase, i sharply canceled the order... I am so happy... Best decision this month.

Do u intend to use 20gb for 1 year? U know it is not possible. I use 25gb in 2-3 weeks.

I use Smile as a backup network especially when i need high speed Internet for certain transactions. The 10GB last up to 5 months while Spectranet subscription is on monthly basis. I don't recommend Smile as alternative to Spectranet as Smile is very expensive and zaps data. The best alternative to spectranet is Swift.

This is where NCC should regulate, that is, device neutrality. We shouldn't buy devices tied to a particular network. I have Smile and Spectranet devices, now I want to switch over to Swift Network, i have to acquire their device. No way.

If only i had stumbled upon this thread before loading my spectranet hoping to do the knight plan in ibadan. Damn !
now I can't retrieve my money from them...
i will kukuma add money to the 4k and do the 24hr plan for 10k. Afterwards I dey port go smile. As 20gb nyt is 6k and much more stable and a real 4g network unlike this epileptic spectranet.
I am only using spectranet cuz it's cheaper not because the services are better... now they increased tariff, who get time abeg?

puskin, honsule, and dragnet. Is this thread not worthy of being on the front page? Or how else is Spectranet supposed to know that people are complaining?

My current subscription ends on the 25th. Unless they do what is right, then that is the end of our relationship.

That's the thing. One will have over 3 modems of the same model but tied to different networks.

Even if you unlock them, do ISPs sell data SIMs only?

I am dropping them for sure. When they sent the mail for a price review few days ago, I thought they will be reducing it, not knowing they will be increasing it.

Now they lost a loyal customer to Swift just as visafone lost me to them years ago.

If Swift are wise, they should reduce their price now. More than 30% of spectranet's customers will surely leave.
