I personally have not sleept with any house maids....but definitely I know 3 to 5 frnds that have. Some for a reason or the other but it is wrong. I can't blame them though maybe because I have not been in their shoes but for whatever reason am gonna sleep with my housemaid, I would rather go to unilag and meet Oriaku or dance with Ada.

It depends on the schedule of both people. There is no hard and fast rule to it. It just amazes me when men threaten divorce and/cheating on issues so simple as common discussion and proper communication can solve. It just proves that there is no proximity. Heck! Some men even pay for professional chefs to come make 5 star international cuisines at the comfort of their home for the family. It's all about exposure, preference, intimacy, communication and love. I'm a fantastic cook and I will say it proudly. I won't cook everyday of my life in a marriage. As I upgrade and get better financially and exposure,; taste and choice will change. Sometimes we may crave something i'm not fantastic at, we pay the chef. Food should be the least of the issues in a marriage if there is love, communication and understanding.

I can cook in such situation besides there is the fridge which one can always stock up and the microwave too just that in some homes, the wife never get to cook anything but paints her nail and gives orders to the house help on what to do. My fiance asked me to get a maid cus he doesn't want me to stress myself out. I got a middle aged woman that's older than him, not too attractive and a little bit hardworking. I actually don't need a workaholic cus I was brought up in a strict home, started cooking as early as 13, can wash, clean and do all house chores. I intend making her our maid after we get married. He pays her salary every month, though he insists I shall cook his meals when we get married, I guess it's because he's selective with what he eats and loves my cooking.
My advice to ladies who Intends to get a housemaid, always go for an older woman that's not too attractive. U don't need a slave or a workaholic, or u need is just someone who can assist u in doing the house chores.

There are occasions that demand for such. I can't be married to a woman and have a house help cook my meal. I beleive in the original plan of God for man. I do the hussling, you protect the home while am out there trying to provide for the family. Note, am not saying a woman shouldn't work but not the kind of work that doesn't give you attention for the family and especially the kids. Nobody is going to take care of my kids. Nope. I grew up in a home where I got raised by my parents and my mum made all the sweet delicacies everyday and I never regretted it. I won't give my kids anything less. I don't buy into everything western, I only pick the few good. If that's not good enough, then it might as well be a formal contract. Its been practiced in the western world these days.

Working is not always about money. Some women are ambitious and ambition needs assistance from home especially. Why not reverse the role and see how it is to stay with the kids? . It is well. It's even good men like you are being vocal about expectation expected. It will be war for a man to marry a woman career oriented and driven about life and innovation then he thinks the best he can do is confine her to just a shop owner or a housewife. when you realize that you wife is becoming reluctant about her duties, trying to claim equallity with you, or showing u that she has better things to do(like church, career, fashion, est.) then that is good enough reason to emotionally break up with her forever. because even if she mks amends, it's mostly not from her heart.

This is the very reason why the home front is left bare for intruders to invade and do as they please. If one cannot make sacrifices for ones kid and family then one might as well not need to get married nor have kids. Life is like a weighing balance. You can't have it all. If you make a choice you live with it. There are women, I mean very well exposed and career driven women who still have family values left in them yet they make sacrifices for their families. Getting married, keeping and building a home is not for everyone. It entails a lot of sacrifice. Giving up dreams to make it work. If you can't make a sacrifice, marriage is not for you. That's why there is an option of single parenthood even though it is to the detriment of the child not leaving out the many unpleasant never told stories of such parents. Copying everything from the west hook, line and sinker is just the reason for such. I have seen people even here that have family values and there is always a clear cut difference of such homes from those home which people in Africa are made to believe is the "in" thing. I have had opportunities also to have had conversation with many a number of the so called career women many from this hemisphere and there is not one I have met that has no regrets. A Lot of deceptive interviews, red carpet, fake bio's and stage managed events of such individuals keep luring people into making the same mistakes and destroying not only their lives but also the live of their kids forgetting so fast someone mad same sacrifice to better them.

It is very simple, career or family. No one has ever truly had them both except those that keep covering their lies with more layers of lies.
