Do you know that the end of high school denotes the beginning of your journey down the road of your educational career? Are you the type that develops incessant headaches when having a thought of what step to take next? Are you among the numerous number of candidates that have been denied admission in countless number of time?

IJMB is an A'level prog, it is run by Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria. It has an affliated centre in Ilorin. The prog is a sure way of proceeding into 200l in any university of ur choice without the hassles and the stress of UTME.

The prog last for only nine months.Deficiency in O’Level result is also not a problem as there are exams that can be enrolled for during the prog to complete it.

Please visit www.ijmbadmissions.org for more info or call 08068940428, 08189529845

This is no excuse. English is our lingua franca, as such, should be written and spoken appropriately.

I feel bad when people make such excuse as the one you mentioned. I think we Nigerians should endeavour to use correct English even though the language isn't ours (by origin).

Whether we like it or not, there has to be a language which everyone in this country communicates in. Nigeria is a country of diverse tribes, hence, different languages. So, if we decide to kick out English from the country, what next?

Everybody will only be able to communicate with people from his tribe. A hausa man won't be able to chat with a yoruba man; an igbo man will be lost when a calabar man starts moving his tongue, and so on.

What about international communications? Every international affair will need interpreters. We also won't be able to study and work abroad if we wish to.

The government who made english compulsory in schools knew all these and more.

Another egregious habit I have observed among students is that, some learn English just for exam purposes only. In their day to day interactions, they speak the language anyhow and ignorantly.
This is why many of our graduates still speak like villagers.

I don't understand what you mean @bolded

anyway, IMSU(imo), AAU(Edo), Absu(abia), Ansu(anambra) have low English aspirants, tho not all offer English & Lit together.... would have added NDU(bayelsa) buh surprisingly, they have 500+ aspirants for English

Anyway, you can do further research, especially about their fees, environs and how much popularity the school has(very important when job hunting)... I'll add more if I find any

ok dear..fanks

buh could u pls drop ur number for me... so I won't be able to make any mistake!!!....pls
