Hello,

Happy Sunday all.
Please Did you indicate the UMI number from the upfront e -medical sheet anywhere on the study application form ? Please revert
oh, I didn't do upfront medical, I was called for medicals before I went for it, then I saw some fellas who came for upfront medical, so I only noticed that they were given their own e-medical sheet to either submit (paper applicants) or upload (online applicants).. @Jlakeside should help with your question, he did upfront too

It's been 12 wks plus I have submitted my application and nothing from cic. During tracking it's says it's been processed at Ghana. Just last week my sponsor call to let me know that they called him and his bank. Am still trusting in God for the best. Did upfront medical and no mail yet. Let's keep praying for those of us still awaiting decision on our applications and those yet to apply for God's favour.

Good eve,
I lost my phone that's why am giving this information late. I received my passport about, only for me to be denied. Reason; purpose of study. I indicated that I have been working, paid tuition and also indicated that I have been offered an admission for diploma in business which is a pathway to MBA. Need your assistance house
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by hayqinsbFX: 7:47pm On Mar 13, 2016
what is your previous qualification?
For you to be going for a diploma irrespective of which pathway it leads to is a turn off in my opinion......

you can share your documents and your overall profile and reasons for refusal so as to have a clearer picture..

About graduates going for diploma raising redflag. What if you are going for technician diploma course that is only available in diploma? E.g Technician diploma in remotely operated vechicles ROV. This courses are taught in universities like that, they only come as diplomas. I just need clarity concerning this not applying for diploma issue. what if you want to totally abandon your line and study an entirely new line?

You can't be a graduate of geology wanting to switch to marine sector and you apply to masters in nautical science without a background knowledge. The right thing to do is to apply for a diploma course in the marine sector first before working your way up.

there is no rule of thumb ....
its just the way VOs see people from this part of the world....the first impression is desperate in the VOs eyes.

you could still get a visa going for a diploma if its in a section of ur parent program or a different part of the science but believe me you have a whole lot of explanation and prayer to do...

to better your chances and to sleep well at nigght it is advised to give to ceaser what ceaser wants..... which is progression....

Pls somebody should help me out...
I got an email from the sch on 24 Feb that my admission letter has been send to my country postal service, they gave me a tracking number but each time I check it keep saying on transit..
Pls I want know how many weeks will takes to get to Nigeria..??
Thanks
24Feb is way longer but well no one can say.. Mine was mailed through Canada postal service on 29Feb and I have received it handy.. I got it lastweek Wednesday at the post office. Yours might have been delivered but unable to be updated at the portal maybe due to network or system error(I have had several experience with this kinda issue with USPS during my US application)

~Go to the nearest post office, ask for the ICT unit/office, provide them with your tracking number. They will be able to tell you if its been delivered or not..~

Good day all, pls. I applied for post graduate bsn nursing at the university of Saskatchewan, but I was told I needed to do some prerequisites before I can be offered post graduate nursing, so I applied for the prerequisites and I was offered admission for Sept fall. When I got the admission letter it stated that I have been offered a 4yrs course in art and sciences in which I called them to ask why 4 years since the prerequisites will be offered in a term and the post graduate bsn nursing is just 2yrs. I was told the 4yrs is better to be on a safer. Pls I need advice on how to go about my application in oder not to be rejected since my first degree is in public administration and my first job was as a customer service in a hotel and my last job was as a flight attendant with an international airline outside nig( note as a flight attendant I have been intensively trained to handle first aid and delivery on board.) I resigned as a first class business crew and I have visited slot of countries. I resigned last yr and am on maternity presently in Nigeria . Thanks.

Going for project management after studying engineering is not strange because engineering work environment is based on projects(e.g roads, buildings). I expect the visa officers should know this.

I concur. Engineering is all about proper project management.

The explanation is this, if your class of degree, for instance, is a third class, you cannot be offered admission for a Certificate programme, rather you'll be given admission for a PGD (Postgraduate Diploma). Also for every course, there are prerequisite courses one is expected to have done and passed for you to be able to do a PGD or Certificate programme.

That's the latest development in CIC now, they now call one or two important persons connected to your application. People need to be more careful with who they include on their applications by ensuring there is a cordial relationship so that whoever they would call won't deny them due to distance relationship/personal bias et al . Something funny happened few hours before they approved my permit, one of my junior colleagues who coincidentally happened to be the IT executive in my company was called by CIC to confirm if I work in the company, he first didn't connect with the name they called initially because he was not used to the name but he was smart enough to ask the VO for another name which she now mentioned the name he is conversant with, that was the game changer. Less than 5 hours after the call, I got a mail of approval. Note: I didn't put the guy's name on my form, but CIC went behind to check the company's website and picked a number from there to confirm status of my employment with the company . Lesson from this, be friendly with your colleagues because, you can never tell when they will be the one to determine your destiny. Also, pray that when your call of testimony will come, the receiver should be in a right state of mind and be in a quiet place. My guy nailed the background check , when he told the woman that I'm right in the next office to him and asked if she would like to talk to me and the woman politely told my guy never to bother because, all she wanted had been verified.

Hi great people, good morning.
Please I need ideas and advice from the gurus in the house. I seem to have mastered the process of packaging Study Permit application courtesy of this platform but currently planning to apply temporary resident visa for my wife and child in which suggestion on what I should put together will be highly welcomed.
I want to know the documents both my wife and daughter(1.6 months) would need to fill in order to scale through.

Secondly, how do one pays into school going by the CBN restrictions ? I don't mind for if students at Fanshawe College can help me.

I look forward to a good feedback.
Real life experience and practical steps on how the challenges were resolved with a positive feedback
How much balance you think should be in my personal and wife's account in order to make this fly.

Can someone share his/his experience on Turkish Airlines because, I plan to pay for the flight tomorrow and how best to Link London Ontario from Toronto in the event that my flight arrive late in Toronto.

I hope paying for flight without securing any apartment yet has no disadvantage? I'm still looking for an apartment though working with a friend in London already but if anyone knows of two bedroom apartments close to Fanshawe College and at a very reasonable price of 500-600 CAD should please help. I have my contact that can always verify the apartment, just help me with a good option. I am on kijiji already but recommendation can safe me a lot of stress and time.

1. Is this letter convincing enough to a vo
2. Do I still need to add the C.E.O's personal soa
