MduZA:I'm Nigerian but I must say this Nigerians are the greatest noise makers on earth. All our money and development na for mouth,we have nothing. I live in Nairobi now and I must say they are doing better than us and I visited Zambia recently and I was so amazed at the development. |

mrvitalis:average statistics of what and what exactly? Motorable roads? Public and affordable primary healthcare/education facilities? Social amenities like water works? Electricity? I tell you most sincerely my friend, the ONLY real things that derail the north is mass illiteracy and lack of industries which makes the availability of other facilities and amenities look inconsequential. The north has BETTER roads than the south, water boards still work quite well in many northern states, electricity is BETTER in the north than the south and public health is still much cheaper and available. Northern leaders are the most wicked of the bunch thats why this issue keeps coming up. I have tasted both lands and visited many places on both ends hence my rebuttal. |

ATERI:Stop spewing hate ...in terms of development index Nigeria is not near SA. SA is way ahead of us. Nigerians are chest beaters and that's a fact. Nigerians need to travel to other countries then we will stop making noise about being the giant of Africa, I mean other African countries o, not even Europe or north America. I was in Zambia recently and I was amazed at their level of development,Nigeria does not come close to them right from the airport to the city and every other place I visited. Power didnt go off for more than 2 hrs at a time and in the 10 days I spent there, i didnt experience power failure more than 2ce, I'm presently in Nairobi and it's the same thing, power failure is almost non-existent and their tourism industry is very developed, I don;t even want to atlk about other western countries sef cos it will take us decades to get to their level and this is a fact. A proud man does not know his weakness and there is no way you can work on your weaknesses if you don't know them. Nigerians should stop bragging and forming best in Africa cos we are not even close, we are just overpopulated and loud mouthed noise makers, we need to calm down and fix our country. |

will you African stop all this "I am better than you buohaha!! what is wrong with we AFRICANS...haba!! cant we live togther without chest beating among ourselves..we African are all chest beaters...we dont like one another..Hate is what we have toward each other..that is why the white man is better than us...far better than us.even Animals of thesame kind live together and agree among themselves..are we coursed or what Nigeria is better than South AFRICA.SOUTH AFRICA IS BETTER THAN NIGERIA..KENYA IS BETTER THAN NIGERIAN AND NIGERIA IS BETTER THAN KENYA...where has this chest beating landed us...anytime any day, we Africans remain Africans, weather you like it or not...we are all black people and before the white man eye and view we all suffer thesame derogatory statement or impression from them...no AFRICAN IS Better than another...people can be disadvantage as a result of thier country poor leadership but it does not exempte any black man from any African country to be viewed as a different race from the other...we all suffer thesame racial descrimination in the white mans land ...then why are we now descriminating against ourselve while we are together...let us change the way we reason..NO BODY IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER..WE ARE ALL BLACKS. |

ATERI:Educate Us? Lol Really? I laugh when i hear such, are you aware that this fallacy is known only in Nigeria? Even under Apartheid there were excellent Black institutuions of learning like the Univeristy Of Fort Hare, which still standss today, how exactly did you educate us ? you really need to stop forcing yourselves on our history, your corrupt government lied to you and extorted money from you and told you that it's heading to South Africa, we know about the likes of Zambia, Tanzania and how they played the role , we simply don't recognize you, no one handed freedom to South Africans but South Africans themselves , I don't recall a Nigerian dying for our freedom. So please stop this fallacy |

vickylala239:Yes football and population, that's were Nigeria will always trump South Africa, but note football is game of cycles, the South African cycle of domination will surely come at some point, we were the number ranked nation in Africa years ago, it's not impossible, besides the Super Eagles aren't so super anymore You will always scream" you guys are controlled by whites blah blha" while you are sitting in pitch blackness and driving on potholes, you sound desperate, bitter and clueless, and oh did i mention those whites are South Africans? Which movies? Those glorified "home videos" where the actual acting is non-existant, sound quality poor, camera work poor, same juju ritual stroty lines etc , those movies are big in Chad and Togo., You forget that if it wasnt for AfiricaMagic. DSTv your home videos would have been watched only in Villages we have our own proper movies , screened in movie festivals worldwide reiceving accolades. The South African movie " Happiness Is A four Letter Word" has just broken box office records in South African cinemas Go figure Typical empty chest beating, you think your music can take over South Africa, while we have our own far better and mature music, your music lacks variety, it's the same afrobeat all the time, with the barritone screaming autotuned musician, I dont know if you guys are mimicking Jamaicans or what, It also lacks musicianship, vocal abiltiy is afterthought in your music, no one touches South Africans in vocal ability, the actual singing, ever heard of Joyous Celebration? Soweto Gospel Choir? Were do you think they get the grammies? Our music has variety, where is Nigerian pop music, rock, opera, soul, techno? You find such in SA, not this afrobeat nonsense Rugby is a rubbish sport becaue you simply don't understand it, Yes football is the world's most popular sport but sport does not equal football get it? You should do well to learn other sports or else you'll continue to come back empty handed from the Olympics |

Ioannes:and those your 'brothers' are ready to carry a different passport from your own passport. Instead of seeing this as a positive side of Biafr*, you are here disparaging them and wanting to stay with them at all cost in "one nigeria". Why are you confused? You should be the biggest Supporter of Biaf*a so that you will have no business with "drug people". |

Every man and his dog agrees with with the fact that NIgeria's economy is the largest/biggest in Africa...why do some of us disagree and denigrate ourselves just to bad mouth the past government? I hope we build from there instead of allowing SA or any other country to overtake our overtaking. YES WE CAN. |

IronGalaxy:Nice to see a comparison nicely put though biased. Many have blamed BBC for instigating this new row over supremacy but I blame them not. Infact I blame nobody because I believe the comparison has allowed us look inner and scrutinize ourselves as Nigerians. We haven't gotten it right but we will. As to your assertions about movies, you obviously need to have an open mind, lots of Nigerian movies these days can compete with Hollywood movies albeit not in terms of finance but story's, scripts and shots. Our musicians ain't all about noise making, we have varieties and not just varieties but have created our own styles, like Afro, juju and a host of others. And yes it's not all about football. You love Rugby in S.A, we love soccer. All these points to our diversities and the strength we can get from them. You know what? At the end of the day, we are Africans and that's all that matters. Either you are a South African or a Nigerian or an Egyptian or whatever place you might be from, you are an African. That should unite us the more, not create more Division. Abeg who giant don epp? |

IronGalaxy:google what black south Africans are saying! The official king of South Africa’s Zulu tribe has announced that that country was economically, militarily, and socially better under white Afrikaner rule—and that history will judge blacks as only having destroyed everything that they had inherited from the white government. http://newobserveronline.com/zulu-king-blacks-destroying-south-africa/ Black South Africans benefited from years of civilized governments, civilized practices, less crimes. It then emerged they are useless at running their own affairs even with the modern infrastructure, good economy and good government structure left by whites: They went back to savages! What do they do instead? Embark on their own genocide and holocaust against other blacks The number of black people who believe life was better under South Africa's apartheid regime is growing, according to survey In a rebuke to the African National Congress government, more than 60% of all South Africans polled said the country was better run during white minority rule. One in five black people interviewed gave the regime which jailed Nelson Mandela and denied them the vote, a positive rating - a result which analysts attributed to crime and unemployment. In 1995, fewer than one in ten gave apartheid a positive rating.
