Former French international and Olympique Lyon coach Paul Le Guen is leading the race to become the next Super Eagles job, Completesportsnigeria.com understands.

Claude Leroy and an unnamed Scottish coach are also reportedly jostling for the plum job which erstwhile coach Sunday Oliseh resigned from a month ago.

Le Guen who was sacked as Oman's head coach after the side lost 2-1 to Turkmenistan on Nov. 17 last year, has reportedly agreed in principle, with the NFF, to lead Super Eagles and has also requested former skipper of the Super Eagles Austin Jay- Jay Okocha to be his first assistant on the job.

Le Guen who was also booted out at Scottish side, Rangers Completesportsnigeria.com, gathered will earn about $50,000 a month which is double of what Oliseh earned as coach.

Olympic team coach, Samson Siasia is currently in charge of the Super Eagles on an interim basis for the double header against Egypt later this month.

Finally someone reads the situation accurately.

I believe it's one reason the rogues in the NFF prefer to hire a foreign manager.

Now I know this Amaju pinick or peakmilk or whatever is a certified slowpoke.

Le Guen of all people!! This guy has been shit since he left Lyon. I'd rather keep Siasia than bring this guy in. Heck, I'd take Leroy or that Mico guy over Le Guen anyday of the week.

This is how we destroy our economy. All the countries with strong economy pay everyone in their local currency. Na so our FX reserve go finish. Arsene Wenger is a French Man, Did Arsenal pay him in Euro or GBP or Dollar? He's paid in GBP because he works in UK.
Even coaches within Europe were paid in Euro, not $

This is a clear example of loop-holes within our system, if we are serious about future of this country that coach need to be paid in Naira.
seconded!

Maybe Buhari should get rid of this Amaju. I think he has run out of ideas. Hiring. Foreign coach doesn't inspire confidence in all things Nigeria like they want us to imbibe. After all the female team is doing very well. Their coach is not foreign. I also don't think any person employed by the FG should be paid in dollars.

Has Ben Murray Bruce heard this?
What is the common sense in this?
Is Oliseh not right after all? That they intentionally frustrated him out to hire a guy that "can play balls" ?

All these jobless coaches that are applying for the position ,how good are they ? What was there performance records in their former positions ..NFA should not just go for coaches that have no good track records.. It will be terrible if the next coach gives the Oliseh's treatment
