Hello thanks for d info but I got issues with this, I got d unlock and flash codes but got no prompt ups was asked to download a writer which I did but don't know hw it works, pls would appreciate any aSsistance. Thanchu

Use another sim other than the one the modem was registered with. For example, if you're using an MTN usb modem, use another sim like Glo or Etisalat. A window will pop up where you will be able to type the unlock code. NB: You only need the unlock code not the flash code.

After that, Click on 'Tools', 'Options', 'Profile Management' in that order and then click on 'New' to add the necessary APN, username and password for the sim you want to browse with.

For Glo: APN - gloflat, Username - flat, Password - flat

For MTN: APN - web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net, Username - web, Password - web

For Airtel: APN - internet.ng.airtel.com, Username - internet, Password - internet

For Etisalat: APN - etisalat, Username - etisalat/internet, Password - etisalat/internet

You do not need the writer. Just follow the steps I stated in my earlier post. Cheers.

Put another network sim card in it, restart the device, launch the modem package on the pc. Then enter the unlock code.
