If you like bring pep. To nigeria he will fail. Not untill our football administrators stop owning certain percentage on players, we will neva invite based on merit. Ayam seriously anticipating 2020 when our osimehen, iheanacho, sadiq umar, theophillus, bala ufedo and co will be called super EAGLES. Tell the world we shall return. When these old administrators would be watching from heaven or hell.

To Amaju P: we dont need a foreign coach, that will not solve the problem of poor performances. A good local coach that would be given a chance to build and test a team over time is what we need, not fire-brigade approaches as we have these days.

This foreign coach business. They should just give the job to Siasia and Amuneke because they have proved themselves. If they insist on a foreigner they should go for Claude Le Roy because he's an encyclopedia of African Football - the Super Eagles are the only top African team he hasn't coached, but I still prefer Siasia and Amuneke.

stewpid people, Siasia and other competent lieutenants have already been pre-empted. I can never employ who will earn more than me. Buhari and APC must be mad to approve this nonsense. Siasia is very OK jor

NFF president Amaju Pinnick has declared Oliseh will be the last local man to lead the Super Eagles and has made it clear an expatriate should pilot the Eagles after the temporary deal handed Samson Siasia.

NFF is really the problem of our football. They don't have money to pay local coach but do for a foreign coach.

What a shame!

Pinnick, I dont blame you, I blame those who elected you there. You have no clue of how to run football in this country.

a foreign coach is the only solution to Nigeria's coaching woes. The tribal influences in NFF is way too much.

What happened to buy Nigeria to grow Naira phrase? Why are we going for foreign coaches despite the abundance of local coaches? Why are we paying Dollars instead of Naira?

This is how we destroy our economy. All the countries with strong economy pay everyone in their local currency. Na so our FX reserve go finish. Arsene Wenger is a French Man, Did Arsenal pay him in Euro or GBP or Dollar? He's paid in GBP because he works in UK.
Even coaches within Europe were paid in Euro, not $

This is a clear example of loop-holes within our system, if we are serious about future of this country that coach need to be paid in Naira.

Former French international and Olympique Lyon coach Paul Le Guen is leading the race to become the next Super Eagles job, Completesportsnigeria.com understands.

Claude Leroy and an unnamed Scottish coach are also reportedly jostling for the plum job which erstwhile coach Sunday Oliseh resigned from a month ago.

Le Guen who was sacked as Oman's head coach after the side lost 2-1 to Turkmenistan on Nov. 17 last year, has reportedly agreed in principle, with the NFF, to lead Super Eagles and has also requested former skipper of the Super Eagles Austin Jay- Jay Okocha to be his first assistant on the job.

Le Guen who was also booted out at Scottish side, Rangers Completesportsnigeria.com, gathered will earn about $50,000 a month which is double of what Oliseh earned as coach.

Olympic team coach, Samson Siasia is currently in charge of the Super Eagles on an interim basis for the double header against Egypt later this month.
How can request for Okocha to be his assistant when he doesn't have a coaching license? I smelling some kind hanky panky here. NFF don turn to family affairs Ko? From Daniel Amokachi to Keshi, from Keshi to Oliseh, from Oliseh to Siasia, From Siasia to Oyinbo with Okocha as assistant. How the Oyinbo take know Okocha? Chai! Some people wan make money ko?

Ok na! No wahala! NFF can't play on some Nigerians intelligence.

I still dey observe!

Broke Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are willing to pay a new foreign coach $50,000 a month, which is double what former coaches Stephen Keshi and Sunday Oliseh were paid.

The NFF have already been sounding out several candidates for the top coaching post.

Former Cote d’Ivoire and Zambia coach Herve Renard and Uganda coach Micho have already been approached in the last few weeks.

And former Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen is the latest to be contacted by the NFF, according to top sources.

Le Guen has been without a job since November when he was sacked by Oman.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick has declared Oliseh will be the last local man to lead the Super Eagles and has made it clear an expatriate should pilot the Eagles after the temporary deal handed Samson Siasia.

Siasia is expected to revert to his post as the country’s Olympic team after the AFCON qualifiers against Egypt.

The country's coaches association have already dared Pinnick on his move to hire a foreign coach for the Eagles.

This move is bring out in the open one of many problems we have as country which is hampering our development in all aspect of our endeavor. "INFERIORITY COMPLEX" So NFF can afford $50,000 monthly to pay for a foreigner but they can't pay half of that to ours, Nigeria will never grow never until we start to develop our own talents ..
