Yes brother Im aware. There is some confused souls here who have been trying to convince me that my nation fares worse in such cases.

Yes i agree we do have r.apes now and then . But not almost everyday man. And our nation is a subcontinent . Its too big plus its population.


I think Nigeria must really protect its young girls and stop objectifying them as s.exual objects. And the change lies with Nigerian guyz. Most guyz see women as something to use and throw.

The problem here is too much religion and lesser culture.

The girl who got raped by 13 boys in secondary school did not report the case to the Police. Infact, she didnt report to the school. it was her friends who heard and reported and ofcourse the boys all got suspended and that was it. No criminal prosecution whatsoever.

Unreported means; Reporting to the Police..

Still, you have no right to throw out a percentage. 85 is a pretty specfic number. but what ever the number is, If guys' stories are anything to go by, then male rape is equally High, and this should be a gender neutral problem.

We need to vamp up security, teach younger kids how to protect themselves, Rapists are cancer to human civilization.

The physical scar atimes stays with them for life. I know someone (froma distance) who currently is finding it hard to conceive after she was raped as a 13 year old by robbers.

We need to as a society rise up against this disease. We must together make a stand and provide a platform for victimized girls & women (and men) to report and not be afraid. We must also work on our laws. I still feel rape should carry a high sentence than Homosexuality because whereas the later carries consent and has no real victims, the former has victims who did not give their consent to be assaulted and raped.

Be terrified? Infuriated would be a better term.

Anyway, Yes, we need to provide a platform, we need to educate girls, and women(AND boys) to speak out against rape. I don't know why speaking out against rape to oneself can be hampered by fear of stigmatization. In a sane society, of course. there are so many things that nigerians mess up with their condescending and ignorant treatment of rape victims.

1. Try and be calm
2. Tell him to use protection(by saying you AV HIV)
3. Once you don't struggle with the beast he'll not enjoy it because he's having a psychological problem that's why he rapes.
4. God will not let us experience such an evil situation(pray)
