BACKLASH :Ganduje To Kwankwaso: We Can’t Abandon PMB For You In 2019………..LASHBACK :Stop Using PMB’s Name To Cover Your Weaknesses, Kwankwaso Hits Back. Backlash and Lashback this week examines the unending political war between a political godfather, Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso and his estranged godson, Kano State governor Abdullahi Ganduje, over an alleged political thuggery in the state. Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has openly accused his predecessor in office, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, of political thuggery. Ganduje also called Kwankwaso’s rumoured presidential ambition in 2019 to question, saying that Kano people would not support the former governor over incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari. Ganduje, who spoke on Monday while addressing a crowd during an inspection of Dakata-Bela road project, said the tendency by politicians to move around with dangerous weapons must be rejected by the people. He said Kwankwaso’s claims of working for Kano while he was governor do mean that he did not short-changed the state in some aspects even as he vowed to expose the originator of Kwankwasiyya political movement very soon. “The other time they came to Kano, they claimed to have worked for the people of Kano. We have agreed that they have worked in some places but at the same time they have cheated the state in some other areas. We will show the people their true colour in the near future. “The people of Kano are ready to fight any politician apart from Buhari that is eyeing the presidential seat come 2019. Whoever challenges Buhari, you the people of Kano should deal with him politically. You should show him that Kano is meant for no other person than Buhari,” Ganduje said. He also added that the era of moving around with swords, stick, daggers and cutlasses in the state for political thuggery was over, noting that his group of supporters had never moved around with dangerous weapons. Meanwhile, the political war raging between the two Kano gladiators has taken another dimension with Ganduje’s loyalists already threatening to dismantle the political structure of Kwankwaso, called Kwankwasiyya Amana, and replace it with Gandujiyya Akida. They said their reason was to allow Governor Ganduje take control as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, following what ‘’undue interference’’ in the affairs of the state by Senator Kwankwaso. Also speaking on Monday, Special Adviser to Governor Ganduje on Print Media, Alhaji Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu, said plans had been concluded to do away with anything connected to the Kwankwasiyya ideology. He said: “Governor Ganduje and his political followers have decided to be on their own. Enough is enough. There is no way you can have two captains in a ship without the ship sinking. As far as we are concerned, soon, you will not hear anything about Kwankwasiyya in Kano. “Even the red cap will go with it. We are definitely going to dump it because it has no political benefit, as that era is gone. We are now talking about the Gandujiyya Akida ideology, which we are entrenching. KwankwasoThe immediate past governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has told his successor and Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje to face governance abd count him out of thuggery in the state. Kwankwaso, had penultimate Monday visited Ganduje town on a condolence visit to his successor, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who lost his mother recently. However, the Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said the condolence visit was deliberately turned to a violent rally to cause mayhem in the state, abuse the governor and President Muhammadu Buhari. APC chairman in the Kano, Umar Doguwa, had on Thursday last week addressed a press conference alleging that Kwankwaso exhibited “acts of indiscipline which should not be allowed to go unpunished”. Doguwa said the party leadership and elders had approved the constitution of a disciplinary committee to penalise Mr. Kwankwaso. However, the camp of the former governor, on Friday, issued a statement, saying the former governor refrained from visiting the state since May 29, 2015 when he handed over to Mr. Ganduje in order not to interfere with the state’s affairs. According to the statement, Mr. Kwankwaso had given his successor “space and time to settle down and consolidate on Sen. Kwankwaso’s successful programmes and projects that resulted into 100% APC’s success in the 2014 local government and 2015 general elections respectively”. The statement, signed by Kwankwaso’s aide, Yunusa Dangwani, also said the Senator found it pertinent to visit his successor and condole with him over the death of his mother. It said there had been close ties between Messrs. Kwankwaso and Ganduje, being his former deputy for eight years and also his former Special Adviser when Mr. Kwankwaso served as Minister of Defence. The statement added that Kwankwaso also “deliberately gave short notice for the condolence visit, but was pleasantly surprised by the turnout of the good people of Kano who came to receive him at the Malam Aminu Kano Airport and escorted him to Ganduje village”. The statement added that by the time .Kwankwaso’s convoy arrived Ganduje town, they were surprised “that some local people brandished local weapons, not minding the somber occasion. It is unfortunate that they could not be chided, thus we left them with their weapons at Ganduje”. “It is therefore appalling and rather unfortunate that the good gesture of Sen. Kwankwaso has been mischievously interpreted wrongly. “It is also disheartening that few hours after the death of our state Deputy Chairman Alhaji Isa Ali Danmaraya the government was busy coercing and misleading some party leadership into addressing a press conference that will only culminate in splitting the APC in Kano,” the statement said. The statement further warned Mr. Ganduje to desist from dragging the name of President Muhammadu Buhari to cover for his administration’s “obvious weaknesses”. Mr. Kwankwaso therefore urged the governor to “strive to concentrate on facing the enormous challenges of governance such that, perhaps, he may also be revered and respected by the good people of Kano State”. Whether Lashback or Flashback, na dia bizness. All I know is that it'll be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for APC to win the 2019 presidential election |

Reviving the battered economy inherited from the Ineffectual Buffoon 7. Employment 8. Infrastructural development Surely, there is plenty of time to shut you guys up permanently. |
