Let Nura and Lazarus be our 2 righ back options and let Chukwueze do his usually damage from d wing.

I do not think we should keep it that way. We need players evolving. Look at Gareth Bale for instance. He evolved from a winger back, to a winger and then one of the most exciting forwards in the game.

If Nuru evolves, I do not think we should restrict him.

Although for now, that is thinking too far. He is a wing back and Chukwueze is the winger who is going to get technical experience and knowledge from Arsenal.

That is my point. Chukwueze is being tutored as a winger at Arsenal and it would be counter productive to impose Nura Abdullahi in that wing position. Let Nura compete for the Right back position with Lazarus and let the better player emerge. No big deal if Nura or Lazarus sits on the bench. But remember also that Sincere Seth is also eligible. Seth to me is currently ahead of Lazarus. Sincere Seth will only turn 18 in April this year.

The competition in Nigerian football is getting too tough. If only the NFF can reduce their thirst for short term victory and allow the team grow together. We can build a formidable team to give a good Senior World Cup performance.

These talented young lads are just too many. That was the point I was pointing out to Tbaba and forgiveness about Ehizibue who they feel we have lost a lot by allowing Holland to invite him for their U21. I dnt believe Ehizibue is better than Nura Abdullahi, John Lazarus and Sincere Seth. Not to talk of the right back we have in the U23(Seth one of them) and Super Eagles.

Yes, they are too many hence we must seperate the wheat from the chaff with the theory of elimination by substitution until we discover the best out of them all.

Ehizibue might be better than all of them but how do we know if we don't give him a trials.

Case-study:

The U-20s got a Samuel Chukwueze @Arsenal who could be modelled into a world class left-footed right-wing beast, Attacking midfielder and more. (Think Arjen Robben and the likes..... #smiles). He'll have an R.B. behind him in most formations... E.g. 4-5-1 system, 4-3-3 system, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 etc.




On another hand, in another formation, we could also have an evolving right-back as right-winger. (
E.g. The 3-5-2 system which could also collapse to a 5-3-2 system, the 3-4-3, etc ). Such an "evolved" wingback will have a more withdrawn Wingback behind him as R.B.


We are seeing a rise of super talents across all levels of our football (I also put out a list of rising right-backs on the previous page) and we could utilise "most" of these super talents in various formations. WE DON'T HAVE TO UTILISE ALL THE FORMATIONS IN THE WORLD. WE HAVE OUR CENTRAL FORMATIONS which are the 4-3-3, the 4-4-2 (diamond-style), and the 4-5-1.


We could also imbibe the 4-2-3-1 (a 4-5-1 detailed breakdown), and the 4-1-4-1 (another version of 4-5-1 or 5-4-1. It could also be a subtle kind of 4-3-3 where the two extreme attacking midfielders move futther up and the two central attacking midfielders in front of the DMF fall into the Iniesta-Xavi axis),


This NEW SUPER GOLDEN GENERATION ON THE RISE CAN DO ALL THESE IF WELL HARNESSED.

They can outshine the first super golden generation of 1990-2000 (last decade of the 20th century).

Barcelona loanee Bobby Adekanye is set to commit his international future to Holland instead of his country of birth, Nigeria.

The Royal Dutch Football Association is in the driving seat to cap the highly-rated winger after he was included by Coach Edwin Petersen on the roster for the upcoming UEFA Development Tournament.

Ademola Adekanye, Bobby's dad, has reiterated that the NFF did not attempt to persuade the PSV Eindhoven starlet to represent any of their youth teams, and it would have been disrespectful to give a negative response to the KNVB.

''Bobby is going with the Dutch under 16 team to Portugal. They are scheduled to play three games, against Spain, Portugal and Deutschland,'' said Ademola Adekanye to SL10.ng.

''The door is not finally shut on Nigeria, nobody knows tomorrow if he will decide to play for Nigeria.

''The truth is that the Nigeria Federation never invited him, but Netherlands did and he needs to respect them.''

According to Fifa rules, the door is still open for Bobby Adekanye to defend the colors of Nigeria until he plays a Fifa-sanctioned competitive game for Het Nederland’s Elftal.

ADO Den Haag winger Segun Owobowale represented Holland at the 2014 European Under-17 Championship, but it has been 'claimed' that he has opted to play for the Super Eagles in future.

I still don't understand why some players born in abroad get invitation to the National team while some got ignored delibrately. All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. Na animal Farm thing.

They will say we need home grown players and that we have too much talented players. But when you look at the countries poaching our players, you will begin to wonder if we have more better talented players than them. And you will think they are poaching from our crumbs. Hehehe! Crumbs indeed!

But reverse is the case. With the arrays of stars they have, they still have the quest to accumulate more talented players.

The boy approached Emmanuel Amuneke but Amuneke turned him down without even a trial while Holland had already seen enough of him to give him a call up. Which way naija? Tomorrow dem go say he is not patriotic for chosen Holland because they think the boy no like success.

I talked about Tiago Ilori exploit at Sporting Lisbon and Bordeaux the other day (now playing for Liverpool fc) but someone said na average player. But i was shocked when he started mentioning and Clarmoring for one of our rising star in Porto to be included in the under 23 just because he played only three matches recently. Don't get me wrong. I support his suggestion but i don't support his selective......

Highly-rated US youth international Matthew Olosunde has finally joined Manchester United after he received his international clearance.


Olosunde signed for United on January 29, but the 18-year-old defender could only play his first official match in England on Friday for the Manchester United U18s against Brighton after his international clearance had come through.

He played the full game, but United lost 2-1.


He featured at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, featuring in the USA’s opening game against his father’s native country Nigeria.

Olosunde was once on the books of MLS side New York Red Bulls and was set to join Duke University in North Carolina

Played against Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chuwueze and co at last year's Fifa U-17 World Cup.

He played for the Junior(cadet) Stars and stripes of the U.S. of A. #smiles.

I remember he got injured in that game and left the pitch. Oh how our boys bossed Olosunde, Christian Pulisic and co in our very first game.

He's a decent talent.
