Honestly Arsenal has been a disgrace you cant even vouch for them cos you dont know which of the Arsenal that will turn up, inconsistent has been their slogan. A season where the so call BIG four are playing below par, Arsenal cant even cease the opportunity. The players at spurs, westham, leichester are not better that the one at Arsenal the only difference is the coach, Arsene may have lost the golden touch and feel too comfortable at Arsenal,so is time for him to go so that a younger coach who is ready to impress and who is motivated to win can take up the job. The best coaches now are coaches below 50 years old. |

Funpeter:First things first... What is the aim or the objective(s) of the club each season? This will enable one to properly evaluate Arsene. If their aim is a top-four finish and Wenger gives them that, will it be termed bad? I don't think so. But if the target is to win trophies, then that is when one would say he is underachieving. The last time I checked, the board's main concern is a place in the following season's Champions League. As long as they make enough on the financial aspect of the game they are ok. Now, has it changed? That is what we need to know in order to properly assess Wenger. |

^^^^ it is safe to say whoever attacks ARsenal and Arsene are plane ignorant, wailers based on the above aim of the club. Hmmm NAwa o. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by dmcdad: 2:50pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
Fkhalifa:True. Until the board changes its objectives, then Arsene is doing just fine. |

dmcdad:You have a point but if thats the target of the Arsenal board every season then all of them are a clown......which i doubt. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by dmcdad: 4:27pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
Funpeter:This I think is the reality. They are well concerned about the financial aspect of things, and that is evident in the amount of money the club makes every season. I must say Arsenal make a staggering sum of money for a club that doesn't win trophies. So it seems the aim is about finances. I got to learn about this some 3-4 seasons ago and since then I fully grasped the idea behind Wenger's mode of spending and him not winning trophies as fans would expect, and also why his job is ultimately secured. Now have you sat down to imagine if the board were to give him or rather have always set in stone the objective of winning trophies, they wouldn't have sacked him long before now? No matter how patient they are or can be, if his objectives were a negation of what I posted above, then I think he would have been showed the door. Let's see what happens though. But unless they change their season's objectives, then I think Arsene will remain for the foreseeable future. |

even if you sack Wenger, who wan replace am ? asking for change when you don't know wetin fit happen na big risk. spurs was supposed to hire LVG before we hijack the move pochettino who is doing very currently, na their backup option. them for dey enjoy philosophy now. |
