At the very spot of the accident, she stopped- so it wasnt a case of hit and run. Moreso it seems it was the carelessness of the family who allowed a toddler to wander alone on a road.
But she obviously accepted fault and paid "restitution money" if i can call it that.
Always good to settle problems on the spot as much as posdible.
