Nigerian Army Major, Three Soldiers Killed In Abonnema Rivers State

A Nigerian army major and three soldiers were shot dead today in Abonnema in Akuku-Toru local government area of Rivers state less than 48 hours before crucial supplementary legislative elections are scheduled to take place in the state.

A source told Saharareporters that the soldiers ran into an ambush set up by militants in the volatile state.

The state governor, Nyesom Wike had engaged in rallies across the state, and repeatedly threatened that anyone attempting to rig election against his People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidates will be killed.

The more reason why the military will remain. This area in abonema will that killed a soldier will be wiped off. No election for them. Their votes will be given to APC.

I expect the Military to take control of every level of government in Rivers State, till normalcy returns..

Your expectation won't come to pass, I condemn the killings in Rivers state but if APC is doing all that for military to take over then they should have a rethink. How many military men are killed in Borno?

All handwork of apc in rivers state, equip thugs to kill soldiers to incite them against the rivers people so a state of emergency will be declared. Apc withcraft party, Their plans will fail. Rivers is pdp, buhari take note!
