No need to worry, just watch him. Most pediatricians will tell u to relax and watch till he's 18months. He's still tryin to gain confidence

Good day mamas, i trust our lo's are doing great. This forum has been really helpful & helped me to aviod some mistakes as a ftm. My question for today is- BONABABY, a theething srupy for baby. How good is it? Cos Dh bought it on the recommendation of a pharmasit. DD started teething (2 already) @ 4+ and didnt take anything cos it didnt disturb her, but now she is teething again, she has been putting her hands in her mouth & drooling excess. Sry for the long story, pls sabi mamas, nurse kaffy4bill, zayine, helovesme. Tchinnwe & other mamas.

Seconded @ soonest. Pls say NO to teething mixtures/powders

She's 1 year now. At 8 months, i was giving pap. I started birds custard at 9 months when she got tired of pap but noticed dd wasnt enjoying birds custard so i got hollandia vanilla custard, that's what we're still using though i swap the flavours (vanilla, banana, strawberry).
Some people don't recommend custard that early with the reason that there's colouring in it. But, i have friends who started it at 6 months and i'm yet to see any harm.
ok..ill try both and see which he'll prefer. Thanks a lot.

She meant stopping abruptly! It's advised to wean gradually. You keep reducing d number of feeds till you feed only once at night then you stop. In that way you won't battle with pains and engorgement.
Sorry dear, you will soon be relieved.

Don't stop abruptly next time. Stop slowly by cutting down on the number of feeds.
This way, the baby starts adjusting and your milk production starts reducing. At the end your baby weans off naturally without itch and you cease to produce milk without feeling pains.

Pressing out milk will make the breast fall. Start using a smaller bra (pre lactation size possibly) to keep your breast firm. It will both decrease milk production and keep your breast firm.
If i tell you ive breastfed you will never believe cos there is no difference in my the way my breast looks pre and post lactation.

Thanks for your concern i was adviced to reduce the number of times he sucks and i reduced it but it was only during the daytime,i think am producing more because he doesnt suck in the night and each time i wake up,they are full again. Am getting relieved now, still counting today is the fourth day!

Good morning mamas, pls my baby eyes are always bringing out that white/milky stuff since I gave birth to him. I don't know what it is called but it stays at the edges of the eyes.

When does the whitte stuff come out? When he wakes up or everytime. You should see his paed to ensure its nothing. You can also try this method my pead gave me. Add salt to warm water, dab cotton ball in the solution, squeeze it till u got very lil water on itt. Then clean his eyes from tthe nosebridge point to the other end. Change the cottton ball often. Do it 3-4 ties daily. Ensure you dontt use your hands to clean it because you can re infect the eye.

Rezzy I don't know but maybe try Lovinam's method. Don't use your fingers to clean it and add a very little salt to the water and use cotton wool. Also speak to your doctor about it. Pele.

Not only thank them and not give any drugs, but feel free to give them fake updates about the drug usage sef. Babies need breastmilk and unless one of those in-laws is a doctor, never allow them give your child anything.

We abuse drugs in Nigeria anyhow.
