I just thought to share this, hopefully, it could be if help to someone out there.
With the implementation of TSA by the FG, every payment that is been made to any federal institution passes through a single account. Whether it's an FG owned university, polytechnic, COE, ministry, paramilitary such as road safety, police academy, NDA etc.
Now, before such payment can be made, the payee need to have a number called "remitta number" that is generated from the internet, which will reflect what actually you are paying for. This number generation is mostly done in d cafe cos most pple making this payment dont knw much abt the internet.

Now, in the branch where I wrk in Niger state, pple troupe in, asking for the nearest cafe to do such thing, but sadly enough, the nearest cafe is relatively far.

All am suggesting/advising is that, one can easily look for a place where there is concentration of banks and set up a make shift internet cafe with ur lappy n small gen for the sole purpose of generating this number for customers. In my place, cafe charges #100 to generate one and it doesn't even take up to 5min except if u hv a slow network, then u can decide to copy out the number to d customer or print it out if u hv a printer.

If you are in a good location, like near a federal institution like road safety, CAC or schools (even unity schools), u myt b lucky to get up to 40-50 customers in a day wch is like 4k. Am saying this based on the number of payment we receive in our branch alone.

The pics below is an example of one that I did for a friend of mine. After which, he will take the remita number (the one that starts with S10....) to any bank and complete the payment. Its didn't even take me up to 90s to generate this. And if you are a guru, you can charge them extra so that you can use your ATM card or internet banking option to make the payment for them.

First and foremost, when you enter the site, remita.net. This is what you will see. You will then click on pay a "remita customer/biller" which is the first box among the option on the center of the screen. You have no business with the login option or trying to create one, as that is left for those that process the payment.

Once you click it, this is the next page that you will see. Always ensure that the option of "pay once" is active.

Enetr the name of the instituition that you want to pay to, eg CAC. The system will even help you search for it.
Click on the purpose of payment and fill in the rest options.

Next you will have something like this. After which the remita number will be generated. Then the customer is set to make payment in any of the bank he likes. If you are good with all these technologies, you can link your ATM card with the remita services and you will be given the oppoutunity to make the payment yourself using your ATM card. This will bring in more money if the customer don't want to stand in the cue that he or she might encounter in the bank.

Some have started. I know NDA, NPA(Police Academy), The Fed University in Kano, ATBU have started. Others might commence by next session. Then agencies like CAC, FRSC etc have already started. That's y I said its best you look for a place where there is concentration of banks.
