Tell me what Jesus was talking about in that verse.

What I can add is salvation is wrought by the Spirit of God. The WORK of joining a forgiven sinner to the body of Christ is wrought by the Spirit. In this regard, every believer has Holy Spirit in them

1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV)
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Titus 3:5 (KJV)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

On top of this work, the Spirit is said to be a deposit, a surety of our inheritance as you said in Ephesians 1:14.

But what persuades me that there is a need for continuous filling is the following;

[size=18pt]1. In Acts, the disciples were filled with the Spirit anew AFTER Pentecost.[/size]

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

The same group of whom it is said
Acts 2:4 (KJV)
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

I consider it to be analogous to recharging. Just as we constantly pray to recharge, the filling is continuous. Note the second instance was not manifested by spiritual gifts, just boldness to be witnesses. This equips us for daily living

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Remember he is writing to believers, who are already Spirit filled as you pointed, who have Holy Spirit as a seal/guarantee of their inheritance. If he is talking about the same thing, this is redundant as much as is telling someone who has just showered to take get wet.

This is what I believe every child of God should desire, a Spirit filled life. It is not historical but continuous. And this is what I believe Jesus is telling us that the Father is more than eager to give us.

I find it curious that Paul considers this experience or life a substitute for drunkenness. The reason for this I believe is because there are similarities between the two. In both, one loses/cedes control of their faculties. I desire and pray that all of us may be filled anew in Jesus name

Due to this not bulking up and when the ''shoes'' and ''suit'' arent tight or close-fitting, there would be issues with mobility
Progressing or moving from one truth or revelation to another, will be impeded by the hanging and loosely fitting ''shoes'' and ''suit'' spirit of God

We shouldnt be a sieve, shouldnt be a porous basket, shouldnt be a punctured nylon bag to receiving, like water, the Holy Spirit

Mind you, the indwelling (i.e. presence) of the Spirit happens at our conversion,
and the infilling of the Spirit (i.e. the pouring) happens continually,
hence the need for growth, to beef or bulk up, in order to fill up, so to tightly fit into the poured out Holy Spirit

When God started teaching me the workings of satan and demons I didn't understand quite well back then... But thank God for He has opened my spirit man to understand these mysteries. He has exposed the works of darkness. Praise God.


PART 1: Exposing the Spirit Husband/Spirit Wife (sex demon)


When I was 11 years of age.. I had a revelation.. In this revelation, I saw myself, a girl and an angry man in my bathroom..


The girl was sitting on a stool and she was stark n*ked.. She was touching herself all over her body.. I didn't understand what exactly she was doing..


The angry man was standing directly in front of her, watching her and watching me with the corner of his eyes... He kept breathing heavily in a fierce manner..



I felt what this girl was doing was wrong.. And she had a sad look on her face.. So I made an attempt to stop her from touching herself.. As soon as I touched her, the angry man pushed me to the ground, got on top of me and was about to rain punches on my face.. I struggled.. Then the girl came to my rescue, and she screamed 'RUN'!


I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. That angry man was so strong I myself became a bit afraid. I was still wondering what I did wrong that made the angry man attack me... I ran outside and was now in my compound. I saw the n*ked girl run too.. She came to meet me. I was supposed to rescue her from that angry man.. I just knew it in my spirit.


Before I could say jack, the angry man came after the girl, grabbed her and put her on his shoulders like she actually belonged to him.. He felt happy like he just won a trophy. It was like I was competing with him to get the girl.
He was taking her back to the bathroom for her to continue what she was doing in there.


As he went away with her.. I kept wondering what this was all about.. Little did I know that I was dealing with a Spirit Husband.. A sex demon.. A very very jealous spirit.. A spirit who believes he has a right over his victim (which he actually does, maybe unknown to the victim)...
This spirit is also called a 'STRONG MAN'.. It is a very stubborn demon and it doesn't give up easily. The more grip it has on it's victim, the harder it becomes for it to let go off it's victim.


The girl was masturbating and the more she did that, the more the spirit had control over her.. The demon knew I was going to intervene, and so he attacked me so that his victim would not escape.


After about 11 years, I met this girl I had dreamt about in the university.. And it was revealed that she actually had a spirit husband..


I am explaining this with the revelation teachings God has taught me so that people can have a clear understanding of how this demon works, how to understand it's tactics and how to defeat it with the Name of Jesus Christ..

Last night I had a dream ... In regards to the revelation about some people listed for death. God gave me the revelation clearer this time..


In this dream, people were in a classroom learning.. This place also looked like a work place.. And I had a female boss who I reported to. The people in the classroom all wore white clothes..


Now there were some other people who also wore this white clothes pretending to be one of the students learning. They just blended in but they were not good people..


After few minutes, these fake people who wore white clothes too got up and drew out pistols and began to shoot people dead.
There was panicking and people grew very scared.

These bad people (about 7 of them) allowed some people to go free, while they shot some dead. Some people were shot but they were only injured. And some escaped.


At a point they started shouting "Charles! Charles! All people bearing the name Charles should come to this side! (their left side)"

I knew it was me they were looking for.. But somehow it was like they couldn't see me or they didn't know me facially.

I saw a chance to escape through the door and I did.

I cannot remember how the commotion ended.

But after a while, After the commotion, people that survived were very few. One of the students came to me and told me a friend of mine named Matthew was shot dead (Matthew is actually an old friend of mine in my secondary school days)
The person who told me Matthew was dead, later said he was alive.

I got confused and asked what he meant. Then he said 'Matthew is dead but he's alive'. He said it twice then I understood.


Matthew means 'gift of God'..
Satan will attack us on this thread and cast doubts about our faith in Jesus Christ, about our testimonies and experiences. He will try to stop this thread or divide us through some people on this thread.

He will attack our faith through some people on this thread that will pretend to be a part of us but are truly from satan.


The attack on us is on our faith and our stand in Jesus Christ.. That we may lose focus here and deny our spiritual gifts which God has given us to use for His glory and that we may be divided like soldiers who have lost a battle.

Some people will be left confused and their faith will be diminished. Some monikers will be inactive on the thread not because they do not have enough spare time, but because their faith will either be weakened or dead. They will backslide and go back to their sinful ways..
Satan wants to cause a division and God has revealed it that we may be prepared.. Prayer is key here.


In the first revelation I had about people listed for death in satan's agenda, one particular friend of mine name 'Chinyere' had died.
Chinyere means 'gift of God' too just the same meaning with the name Matthew'..


In the first revelation after Chinyere had died a friend called 'Ikenna' was to die soon. Ikenna means ' Strength of the Father or 'Power of God'..


God let me know in interpretation that Satan wasn't planning to cause a physical death but a spiritual death by attacking our faith here so that the power of God will cease in our lives.. The death is about dividing the thread, putting out our flames for Jesus Christ.

We may experience difficult moments where we would want to give up our faith in God.. And some people here will start a commotion on the thread.


But I pray that as many of you set your heart upon this.. May your spirit man be charged up by the power of the Holy Ghost.. And may you stand firm in Jesus Christ and not be shaken.. In Jesus Name.. Amen.


Let us put each other in prayer. God is here and He is speaking to us. I love you guys but God loves you more. And the gates of hell will not prevail over us in Jesus Name.. Amen

I'm happy you have the determination to be close to God.. This type of determination will take you far..

Concerning your addiction, you can stop masturbating but still have weird dreams depending on the damage caused already.

Deliverance should be done for people who have gone deep into sexual sins and have bonded with spirit demons..

Like I said before, the more the person continues in that sexual sin, the more the demon has a tighter grip over that person.

When you stop masturbation, you must be filled with the Holy Ghost to receive self deliverance from evil spirits which you have invited into your life.

You must read the word of God, be steadfast in the things of God.. Always attend church services in a Bible believing church. Always pray. Keep yourself spiritually fit..


If you're doing all these, and trusting in God, then self deliverance is sure to come..



But in very serious cases where this sex demon has gotten a tight grip over a person to the point that the person even sees the demon sometimes or can consciously feel the presence of this demon, then this person must go to a deliverance minister to be delivered from this demon.

May God deliver you from any bondage of sin that has tied you down and may any covenant relationship you have with demons be nullified by the blood of Jesus in Jesus Name.. Amen

I will put your mom in prayers. By the special grace and mercy of God, she will be well. Pray for her too, clear all doubts in your heart and be strong in your faith.

One of the major you are struggling is because you foundation has been polluted and it has alot to do with your child hood and stuffs. That sex you had woth that guy were younwere young was the one that activated all these.

Got something around that.

Its has a lot to do with your birth and the likes that all I can remember.

Deal with your foundation and you will be fine.

See my comment above. Be corrected that you are NOT addicted to sexual dream, because its usually unconscious, also what you called masturbation may not actually be masturbation its called sexual fantasies though both dangerous sin Math 5:28 (masturbation means physical stimulating of one self to derive sexual satisfaction, since you are born again definitely cant be doing that)

Deliverance is on your way when you have the knowledge of what you are passing through. If you can notice your prayer pattern and victory over this sexual dream, you should know what bring it back. Like my own case its girls, they just come around for no reason and if mistakenly loose guard for inordinate affection, am defeated. but when I realize this and pray over it I have my victory. As at then when those object of temptation comes around, I became watchful and mindful of them all and I know they themselves dont know why they came around me. NOW as I am typing my life has change, yet the devil is still trying his old style of temptation but I keep winning.

The point am making in my story is that Victory over Sexual dream has to be continuous Matt 12vs43-45 i.e. watch and pray, feed your soul and spirit with what they need.
Also identify object of temptation around you, and pray against them. Renouncing every agent of devil disturbing you. Destroying every seeds and works of devil deposited in your life: Do All in Jesus Name

We are here to let the light of God shine. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we shd all remember that we are human and can make mistakes. I think I made a mistake by telling her not to use our real name. She didn't take it well at all. I have apologised though.
I don't know how to fight, instead of fighting I withdraw. To tell you the truth. My interest in the thread started eroding. But then I remembered, am not here to impress anyone.
If you don't know who you are, people will tell you who you are not.
I think my bold faith is being interpreted as arrogance. And I hate pride.
Pls if I exude pride, I need to be called back. I can't afford to walk/work against myself.
I can't begin to mention the ways this thread has helped me. My courage has really been built just by being here.

And don't fret too much if you don't get it 'right', seize all opportunities to speak and the Lord will continue refining your gift. It's such a privillegd to be entrusted with the Word of God!

About arrogance, I recall Oyedepo quip, 'I say this with all humility, my family and I will never be poor'. This infuriated me endlessly. Then I realized you can't rob a man of his testimony. You may be envious,annoyed but there is NOTHING you can do about a man's encounter with God! Recall the lame guy Jesus healed in John and he just couldn't shut. The religious teachers tried to silence him but he could not. They ended kicking him out of the synagogue.

This is why am no longer a militant anti-tithing campaigner. If it works for you and you have testimonies, who am I to stumble your faith? So dearest, your testimonies may be a source of joy and strength to you but to others they will annoy. Let them alone. Don't stop worshipping and giving thanks because you don't want to offend. Those who take offense with you will whine when you are quiet and they will whine even more when you speak...they will be offended regardless of what you do. So if your conscience is clear before Jesus Christ, go ahead and speak. Don't hold back

I pray that should you refrain from testifying that the testimony will burn within you till you speak it
If you want to go quiet dear one, try and come up with a better excuse. This is an order!
