In as much as I stand against rape n sexual involvement of underage, I must say we shud be careful wit such accusations, teenage girls in puberty, usually tell lies. N i av seen cases were all d evidence of rape/ child molestation looks glaringly tru but d fact is dat de were lies just to gain attention n satisfy selfish motives.

It's gud d teacher has come out to rebuke dia allegations, at the end of dis case, if d teacher is found wanting, he shud be sentenced, but if he is innocent, d girl shud be sent to a juvenile jail n d father made to forfeit all his property/ wealth.

I also hate lies/ blackmail.

Long story but your daughter is right. pull her out. take her to Lagoon School or Methodist Girls or even Our Lady of apostles and be sure to let them know you're in an urgent situation. He has physically abused her and now he is mentally abusing her. She's a kid. They never get over these things.

you're absolutely right about him, he once taught us biology(late 90s) in mr Felix's tutorial centre along akoka rd,his class was always lively and interesting because he calls it the way it's .He is one the religious ones will refer to having dirty mouth/mind, but he's very good in his line.
Till now I can't forget what he taught me in reproduction and how the heart functions and many other things about human body. He might have been wrongly accused though maybe because of his practical demonstrations in class,he's just been real

The question we should ask ourselves is why a JSS 2 student come out in the open to accuse a male teacher in her school. Is he the only male teacher in Queens College? No! There is no smoke without fire. The man should repent if truly he is guilty of molesting innocent young girls in that school.

i have seen wrong accusations too but if u read the blog, there were other students at the scene who jeered at him. For he is known for such act.

From my observation of society, whenever a rape/sexual assault issue is brought up, the guy is immediately taken to be guilty.

The person who is first to report a matter is always deemed innocent until the second party counters. I am not here to defend the man, but at least lets give him the benefit of doubt else we are no better than people who set someone ablaze when we hear screams of "theif theif"

1. The man had said he doesn't stay in the school, contrary to what was reported, and if he doesn't stay in the school what were the chances of him seeing the girl at late hours?

2. According to the report he was drunk, the man says he doesn't drink.

3. Even more interesting is the fact that he doesn't teach junior secondary.

The question now is, why then would a kid lie against him or accuse him of sexual assault. What is her motive or gain? Did she actually say she was sexually assaulted or that the mom is misinterpreting things? Isn't that why we have police and courts?
