Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Special Assistant on Research and Documentation, Emmanuel Nicholas Okokon aka White Bombom yesterday unveiled his new multi-million Naira residence in Uyo. The unveiling was done by the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Onofiok Luke.

He has been on the project for over two years.

He had a life, earned an income and was productive before his appointment.

What is the salary of a Special Assistant vis-a-vis the minimum wage of N18,000 such that he can afford to build suich a house?
Also how much TAX has he been paying to reflect such income earned to build the house?
Until we ask these questions persistently of all our public SERVANTS and the political jobbers around them we will continue to wade in the dark of deprivation:

- tap water
- school enrolment for ALL children.
- good roads
- health clinics and general hospitals.

that can generate EMPLOYMENT and create the environment and pool of skilled labour for private sector JOBS.
