I don't have a problem with Dangote as it stands he is a total Gentleman. .I have boycotted beef in my life now because of those blood thirsty demons called herdsmen and I also have many friends who have too ..we will keep encouraging people to eat chicken and fish which are even more nutritious and healthier than that dirty meat you beef . ... With time the campaign will grow and Fulani will struggle to sell a single cow... Fulani beef is unexportable as it is filled with tuberculosis and is of very poor quality

Lol of course how will you have problems with the person that makes the food you eat available? You are just pained and confused.

Pained because after stating you were starting a boycott, you then stated that the meat (which feeds most of southern Nigeria) is diseased and of poor quality. By that statement, you are suggesting that for all the years before your recent phantom boycott, you have been consuming diseased and poor quality meat. That is senseless and such emotional senselessness can only be attributed to the fact that you are pained.

Confused, because the same IPOB whose directive you seek to follow, also stated that the 'herdsmen' are actually BH terrorists in disguise, who happen to be Kanuri and not Fulani. What then is the basis of your argument against Fulani herdsmen? If you disagree with iPods press statement, then how can you take their boycott directive contained in the same statement seriously?

What you fail to understand is that only nomadic Fulani's solely rear cows and the stationary Fulani's like Alhaji Sidi, Dangote, Dantata etc who own huge farms, are very involved in agrarian agriculture, just as other stationary Fulani's that that farm on a smaller scale are.

Red meat causes cancer, cow meat also results in heart failure, so if igbos boycott cow meat they will live longer and it will result in the saving of more than N100b per annum which is the total sum wasted in the purchase of about 0.7 million cows from the dangerous herdsmen which was got from the consumption of 11000 cows every month from the 5 Eastern states on a monthly basis and about 350 cows a day for each state in the south east .

Mind you this is just a conservative estimate as more cows are slaughtered during festive periods like Xmas, Easter, weddings, burials etc

The East can channel the N100b they will save into poultry, piggry, fisheries, grass cutter farming and diary farms.

This proposition could actually be a blessing in big disguise

If you add the cow meat consumption from the Niger delta who are also affected by herdsmen the figure would be much higher , in fact a traditional ruler was murdered by herdsmen this year in delta state.
This will save both East and Niger delta more than N200b conservatively which is the budget of a big state in Niger delta. This will create a refinery, Ipp, international airport and a build estates.

A stitch in time can actually save more and more lives and create opportunities for the Eastern economy.

As a Niger deltan I know I have an affiliation with the Igbo's cause I no my history..what am saying is that what the Yoruba's and Hausa's don't know is that the Igbo's left farming for them and concentrated on business ndvef mean they don't have the capacity to feed themselves..in fact by that single gesture the igbis are unconsciously alleviating there poverty.
