Against the background of the violence that apparently characterized the rerun elections in Rivers State, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has lashed out at president Mohammadu Buhari, saying that God is angry with him.

According to the governor, the president superintended over elections that were remarkably bloody.

The governor who spoke with Journalists in Abuja on Tuesday chronicled the lists of elections held under the present government, stating that power belonged to the God and and should not be abused by any individual no matter how highly placed.

He said: “I am telling you the truth. Power doesn’t come from anywhere. God rules in the affairs of men. Oppressing, bringing and cutting people down, taking their blood, God is angry. The way this government is taking people down, God is angry. God isn’t happy. Go to Rivers, they kill people.

“Go to Akwa Ibom, they kill people. Go to Bayelsa, they kill people, incarcerate innocent people. God is angry with Buhari. You can’t continue to take the blood of the innocent. Look at my predictions for the year 2016 for Nigeria, everything has come to pass. This is a different ball game. He that will take me, he that will go against me must first of all defeat God. If these were the kind of violence that greeted Buhari’s election would he ever be president?”

Speaking further on the likely impact of the just concluded expanded retreat of the National Economic Council, NEC in Abuja, Governor Fayose stated that the present economic situations in the country indicated that president Buhari lacked technical competence to solve the problem of the country.
Even though he specifically praised the idea, the governor wondered if it would not the just a talk shop.

When the powers that be want to disgrace a man, they lift him so high to the glare of all and sundry, basking in the euphoria of his elation, his pride, repute, dishonesty, wickedness, clandestine intent, hypocrisy, nepotism etc will be unfolded one by one to the glare of the public. Such is the case of the one in the rock house...... Barely less than 1yr in office, this govt has fumed so much directionlessness in a country said to have the biggest economy in Africa. Little wonder despite all the travels no single nation has significantly invested a dime here. Imagine banning a country's export into your country, prunning their market share and at the same time traveling to meet them and request of them to invest in your country. It is glaring that the president himselfallergic to change.

We once had a listening president in Goodluck Jonathan, and I feel it's a waste of time to criticise Buhari because that man is damn insensitive. Buhari lacks the skill to lead a 21st-Century Nigeria.

I believe his victory was all about proving the point that he could still be a president even as a civilian. Enough of that ego trip because Nigerians are really suffering. He should just step down if he's incapable of doing this job.

Honestly, I just can't imagine that we will continue with this madness under Buhari for the next 3 years. Smh

Ok, we have heard Mr Fayose, "The God's Servant".

But how come all we read about you is your words and nothing like "Fayose commission xyz road", "Fayose renovates xyz general hospital", "Fayose buys vehicles for security outfits in Ekiti State", "Fayose renovates or construct xyz primary or secondary sch", etc?

So who is God more angry with if not you Mr Fayose?

I have a dream that one day, Ekiti and Rivers people would stone Fayose and Wike for deceiving them.

Buhari is not normal. I just read with disdain how he quickly sympathized with Belgium over the Bomb Blasts. Really? How long did it take him to sympathize with the Agatu people in Benue State when his kinsmen overran their village? Was the death toll in Agatu not more than Belgium? Hidiot.
