You are foo.l for saying that. So we voted PMB to maintain the impunity. What happens to sacking all those Jonathan recruited and the ones that happened under his tenure.
Your stu.pidity stinks to the high heavens
Old boy, you dey mind these fellows?
It's either they are paid to defend rubbish or they have been brain washed.
Me, I have seen the light and I know, nothing really good can come out of this government, though I pray they disappoint me, by over performing.
Anyway, the rest of their 3 years will soon be over and just as Jonathan was kicked out, they will also be trashed!
Yeye people!

its obvious they are being paid. But from now on I'll create threads that will expose their propaganda.
May God punish them all for all my blood mosquitoes sucked on the election eve just to vote APC in the last polls.

Mr. Man , if you don't know counter an argument, keep quiet. In a state in the United States, zinc was found in the blood stream of the inhabitants and this was traced to their tap water which most people drink. The governor was asked to step down. Was it his fault?
Has he stepped down as a result of this?

Can you compare life-threatening incidents with graft?

Sometimes I read some contributions here in sheer disbelief.

Just say you hate the president simple. This roundabout way of venting you annoyance with his person doesn't cut it.

This issue is a matter for the regulatory bodies, Ombudsman, legislators and civil society.

The presidency might make a pronouncement but that can only be done in such a way that it isn't seen to be a interfering in what is actually an independent organisation's employment method.

No vex.

You guys must face reality.

You are indeed the one talking nonsense.

Under Jonathan's regime people DIED during an employment exercise that was a total charade.

Many even had to pay to attend this unfortunate event. Yet, people asked for the resignation of the minister not the president.

In this case, which many of us were unaware of until perhaps early last week, employment took place under subterranean conditions in an independent organisation.

Firstly, we must exercise patience to observe how things go.

For you to be barely a week after the news broke , to expect the presidency, not the legislators, not the CBN, but the presidency to speak on employment within the CBN, a totally independent body , smacks of insincerity and downright mischief.

In the scale or preference of issues the presidency has to make statements on, this , I'm sorry to say would be way down the ladder.

Whatever body is to address this impunity under the watchful eyes of this change administration should do it fast before it wrecks more havoc in the minds of well meaning Nigerians.

Whether independent body or not. Something must be done fast.

Handsomeclouds .

Emefiele is a drowning man & when people are drowning, they clutch at everything and anything, everyone is aware that Emefiele is trying to curry favour hence the creative way the names appeared on the list...

The recruitment was done illegally like it has always been the case with govt agencies....
At least there would have been ADs for the Job even if the plan is high grade nepotism but No, he did the Nigerian "thing" & felt it will never come to light.

We all expect to see a Change (Pun intended) from the old order & we hope the whole exercise will be cancelled (only the latest one not the ones that have been employed a yr+) & a fair & just one will be embarked on...

However expecting PMB to speak on this is expecting too much, this na president nor be local council chairperson oo... Kemi Adeosun, & Chris Ngige are the main people that should address this...

The comment is handy.
The fact that this kinda impunity persist in our system is what baffles me.
Its a negative integer to PMB's portfolio anyway.

I do hope my submission is satisfactory...

Illegal recruitment is part of the corruption that has eaten deep into our nation & I pray that the law is reworked to make it a crime & not a mere breach of procedure (as it is presently) .....

Min of Fin & Min of Labour should be made to take their positions publicly, CBN act or Not, it is still part of the Finance sector & Labour law too has been flouted somewhere along the way, it will be nice if we know where they stand...

I felt bad for this nation when I learnt EFCC & INEC get lists from NASS to fill open (undeclared & unadvertised) slots!!! Talk about conflict of interest...

The journey is long, arduous & frustrating but I believe one way or the other, WE WILL GET THERE..

not an issue with this kinda magnitude
Bros, there are much more bigger problems for the President to attend to than this CBN employment saga. The Senate or the House of Reps being other arms of government can easily handle it.

Let us support the government to succeed otherwise we will all live to regret it should the economy completely collapse.

The regret has started. It will soon become visible. For me I have given up on this administration
After all most of their plans/ achievements is will and shall

What saddens me the most is that if this kinda impunity happened this time last year. I'm sure it would have been a plus to their manifesto.
How could a whole PMB who seems to everyone like a saint allow this kind of impunity happen under his vivid watch. Its a shame. The change Mantra is a scam.
Bros this your so-called scam/impunity happened during Jonathan's administration. You guys need to read the details, just because it got exposed now doesn't mean it just happened. I wonder if your hope in the change mantra has now been restored.. undecided

PMB haters just continue to irritate us with their useless rants, these cbn recruitment scams have always been there, I have an aunt who works in cbn even as a senior staff, she said she doesn't even know whenever her organisation [cbn] is recruiting, that's how bad it has been. I also have a very close father-like person who just retired recently from cbn as a deputy director who told me startling revelations about the scam that goes on in cbn, I can't say everything here but I can say one that during the former administration, a list of people who were to be employed came from madam peace [GEJ's wife]. He said these guys were interviewed and documented same day which was contrary to their operations which made all of them at cbn so startled, he went on to say that what emeifele did, sanusi did his own too so no be today.

Blaming PMB for the cbn scam is the height of utmost foolishness, we should be praising the present FG that all these revelations are now coming out.
