Following Wednesday's release of Colonel Nicholas Ashinze, the former military aide to ex-National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki- he has reunited with his family. Colonel Ashinze had been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Military Authority, since December 2015. He was arrested in connection to the $2.1bn arms deal fraud spearheaded by the office of his former boss. See above, photos of Ashinze with his family.
