Nairaland once made me feel I had throat cancer which we all know is death sentence. In the end, it was a strong allegery problem cause by an idiotic friend who took advantage of me Not knowing the difference in the smell of helm and cigarette.

Go to the hospital, it may be a skin reaction or maybe you need to clean your water tank - had similar problem before.

Last time i had some thing like this over my chest, shoulder and upper back region, i simply de worm and off the went.

This was what I thought to but she said it only happens whenever he sweats.

This same thing happened to me last 4 weeks, I was given Loratidine tab 10mg and skinea cream, he should be taking the tab 1daily and apply the cream on the spot, it varnish withing 2 days, thank me later, both cost 700 naira.

this is a common things amongst we Nigerians, so it is nothing serious, just apply some skin disease cream and it will vanish.

Solution: tell him to go the bathroom with a pale full of water, he should pour a medium size anapuna salt and small size detol in the water...yes, I remember...he should take him bath with it...he should now rub all his body with palm oil missed with adin-agbon...it will disappear after 3days

Brother I just hope this help...the picture is not very clear but it looks like he is infected with seborhoeric dermatitis (Tanae Vesicolor) this is a fungi infection. It is severe with heat and high temperature. He should try and see a Dermatologist as soon as possible don't just take him to any doctor pls let him see a DERMATOLOGIST!

This is no skin disease, in this most parts of the work, because of the weather and individual factors too, wen the skin is not cleaned properly or the right soap and cream is not use, you cause a situation where some microorganisms flourish. So you have a situation were the sweat pore are blocked by dirt and and the activities of thse organisms ( fungi and bacteria) accumulate dead cells and waste under the skin. All he needs to is bath at least twice a day, den use a combination or antifungal and antibacterial agents be it oral or topical, and things will improve. He also has to find the right soap and cream for his skin type too. Nothing to worry about, it's everywhere.

it often occurs when there is too much garri in the body system.

it's good to share your problems so people that are in similar situations can relate and suggest how to go about it. not saying you shouldn't see a doctor.

Go see a dermatologist they will refer him to do a culture and the treatment can progress from there. NL is not a hospital.....don't be dumb bae.

That's not shingles my dear..likely a contact allergy dermatitis.

He should probably change his singlet, stop perfume and body spray, use more of soap like Dove, joy and lux.

I for once have this ailment and its right on my chest. Searching online shows its a form of acne and since then i just try to treat it.

I have been using Tribact Cream (Clotrimazole-Neomycin-Betamethasone) on the affected area and the spots dissapear but when i am sweaty all over, it scratches. He should just shower and rub the cream on the affected area.

Nothing to worry about as i am very fine.

This is my diagnosis.
1) he has accumulated pimple on his body over d years from d look of things, it's normal for some people
2) his singlet is substandard resulting in those, will I call it stray fabric dat make d dots on d singlet.
3) ur brother sweats a lot wish is normal for some people and
4) the guy is just too dirty.

Recommendations
1)bath with deodorant soap and always with a sponge, no quick bathing or shaolin bathing or just hand and leg
2) bath twice a day nd more if u did any dirty work
3) try treating the pimple on ur back and chest, it will leave over time

This is most likely rashes due to the heat wave in Nigeria and rashes used to happen to us during dry season more often than during rainy season. For this, my mom would buy and apply a special kind of power to our skins just before we sleep at night (for sweating at night) and also during the day. That powder seems to work efficiently at reducing/preventing rashes. I am trying to remember the name of that powder but it can't seem to cross my mind now.

You need to see your doctor...
But still ask him a few questions ..


1) Does the rash itch..

2) how recently did he get rash?

3)does he complain of other things like diarrhea, fevers, loss of appetite weight loss, headache, warts ...

4) how recently did he engage in any sexual activity (to know the possibility of it being a viral infection.....

5) did he recently change his body cream, soap ....

6) did he take any drug of recent (especially antibiotics, people react to some certain anti-biotics, I react to ciprofloxacin for instance and I get a rash on my elbow)

The answers to these questions would be helpful to your doctor to diagnose properly what could be wrong...

it could be a fungal , bacterial or viral infection

It could also be a simple reaction to a drug he has taken recently or some chemical he might have been exposed to...

Or could simple be the heat
A dermatologist would know exactly what to recommend. ..
