Atheist Sees Miracle In Fuel Scarcity, Gets Confused! by JackBizzle(op): 4:21pm On Mar 24, 2016
Yesterday, I could not stop having a sheepish smile on my face as I drove home. What happened to me was a complete surprise. Here is the story;
==================
I ran all over Lagos mainland looking for petrol to buy in my car. From 6 am I went from Magodo to Ikeja to Idimu but no luck- all the stations selling petrol were full with long queues. I was depressed and alarmed- my tank was almost empty of fuel and the car could die at any moment. I wandered the streets of Idimu defeated and emasculated. I was just waiting for my car to die.

I got tired of wandering aimlessly and I stopped at an empty petrol station. I sat down thinking of my life and why I was born a Nigerian. I wandered why I made the decision to leave Europe and relocate to this bastaard country. Then I took a look the the petrol station and thought if there was a God, there would be people at this filling station and I would be the first to get petrol. Lo and behold, not up to a minute passed before the station manager and pump attendants came out to start selling petrol!

I was the first person to buy petrol and I bought 15,000 naira woth of petrol in my car and some jerrycans. I was so happy that I bought so much petrol. But then again, did God answer my prayers?

Yes, did God answer an atheist's prayer? If God did answer my prayers, which God is it? I have a sticker on my car from the catholic church, so it could be Yahweh. I have a keyholder with the spaghetti monster (God of the pasta religion), so it could be Him. I bought my car from a muslim who said that the car would take me on special journeys "InshAllah", so it could be Allah.

So, here I am sitting in front of my laptop, ps4, hd tv with only my boxers on wondering which God blessed me.

Lol.

Take it step by step LB.

Answer your first question.

Did God answer your prayer or not?

Who knows if he's trying to get your attention? Who knows if you finally were at a low point and finally asked the big question genuinely? And got a genuine answer?

Am I now? U went personal with your ps4 and stuff. But that's by the way. Why bug us with your confusion especially when it changes nothing. You're still an atheist, albeit a confused one.

You blessed yourself. The overwhelming majority of people in Lagos, with money, will manage to buy fuel in the end. You just gotta wait.

Instead of waiting in line, you decided to burn half a tank searching. Your search was rewarded.

Next time try to purchase fuel in Lagos and don't carry any money. I will pick the god for you myself.

if what you are saying is true. it is a sign, God did not answer your prayer,He only gave you a sign. Don't fill up the measure of your sins, repent and be save.

If a good samaritan helps. A diehard atheist will still say something like "Stay in your house, if someone brings fuel to you, ill pick the god for you myself". They will always need an extra detail.

Nothing will serve as evidence of the supernatural for someone who is desperate to live in denial of the obvious.

You are only making a mockery of yourself with this.

And please, nor dey quote me na. Abi dey send you undecided

Jesus Christ of Umoji! What did you just spew?

Do you know that God answered the prayer of demons in the bible? To send them into the pigs was a prayer. And God heard it...hello bae!!

God is not like we'd want him to be so he answered coconut-head Jackbizzle to show that. Amen?

Btw, logicboy why really really did you return home? The Fuzz 're after you, abi? C'mon don't lie.

- You ran all over Lagos mainland looking for petrol to buy in my car.
- You stopped at a petrol station.
- You paid for fuel at the petrol station.

I fail to see God. Was the fuel original or miracle?

Anyways, Adeboye's faith was even better. God rolled his tires on an empty fuel tank.

You missed one major fact-

There is fuel scarcity and all filling stations selling had long queues

Lol.

The point of the OP, which completely eludes most of you, is that religion and God thrive where simple everyday things become impossible or are made impossible by the ignorant acts of humans.

Getting Fuel, in this case, being the example.
