wailing wailer. U must contradict anything he says. So 16yrs of decay u want him to do it in less than a yr?
Here we go again with this hackneyed slogan!
So Nigeria is 16 years old?
Did the previous governments meet an eldorado economy when they assumed office?
Wasn't buhari and obasanjo former leaders of Nigeria? Where did they leave our economy then?

If indeed PMB is contemplating failure at this stage, then I think he should consider resignation.

He has been showing signs of incompetence in recent times and this statement may just be a confirmation.

Little wonder; old and obsolete mind working with majorly old and obsolete minds too angry
did u actually read through d thread?
Africans, mostly Nigerians hate to read a very long and in sighting message.

A stiff necked people, they are not ready to build and they will never allow those that want to build to do it.
Its only in Nigeria that the whole citizens are professionals in other peoples field, give them white they need black bring black I was managing my white before you thrust this black thing into my hands,we have an opinion on virtually everything yet our society remains the same.
Days ago people wailed that the President is insensitive,he is this he is that,he is ajala he is a dullard etc...today the man comes out and speak as honestly as the situation could permit,I must say that in all my years of reading or listening to Presidential speech in this country of ours this speech is what I rate as number one in terms of hitting the nail on the head, straight to the point and clearly a honest to God admittance of a sitting government about the true stand of things.
Many will never be able to see the good in the direction in which the present administration is steering the ship of this country to its either they are blind or just chose to be blind to it,either way the change we are clamoring for is here let's embrace it.
at last i have someone who assimilates and thinks positively. Am not a party member but i believe no nation survives without the collective hands of everyone.
to all of u who likes behaving childishly in comments, DO NOT THINK ONLY OF WHAT THE NATION WILL DO FOR U BUT ALSO WHAT U CAN DO FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE NATION.

I read this article from start to finish but did not find any spot where he made the purported statement in the headlin.
You better read again. Of course he made the statement in reference to the elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Rivers States.
It was a frank admission and I admire him for being honest.

Why can't you embrace what you have for once? You are calling this our President dullard despite all his proven to be our new generation's saviour.

I prefer him 100% than that drunkard that used all wealth as he like without thinking of upcoming generation.

I'm an everyday Nigerian. I spent hours on the queue today waiting to buy fuel until it finished before it got to my turn. I understand exactly what ordinary Nigerians are going through. But I also understand the underlying issues. A major pipeline servicing the refineries was damaged a couple of months back. All three refineries are down at the moment. We have to import almost all we need now and NNPC is the only importer with all the attendant issues with logistics. I'm not expecting Buhari or Kachikwu to pull off any magic. If anytin, I'll blame the Navy for failing to safeguard our pipelines from those saboteurs.
I think Nigerians need to sit down and understand the issues before they start throwing stones at Buhari. Too much damage has been done to the country already by previous governments. People who were supposed to govern us and provide selfless service to us just sat down and shared our money!
We need to give this man our maximum support because if he can't save Nigeria then we may as well just give up.
Who have you guys not blamed? Joy Ogwu, GEJ, Dasuki, Dizeani, NOI, Fayose; PDP, World bank, saboteurs, complaining Nigerians; even MTN has had her fair share of the blame game characteristic of PMB and his Zombie entourage.

Today its the turn of the Nigerian Navy as if Nigerians voted for the chief of Naval staff as her president. Or you perhaps don't understand what a C in C of the armed forces means.

At this rate you guys would soon blame our economic woes on the delay of the rains to come pouring heavy in this years rainy season.

When do you think it will be ok to start holding PMB himself responsible ehn?? Smh walahi!!

it is amazing how some people who claim to be intelligent and non partisan keep shouting 16yrs of decay as if Nigeria started existing just 16yrs ago. Buhari, Abacha and the rest of our past leaders both military and civilians contributed to our present predicaments and I must tell you that buhari is not doing any better now. APC jaz used on you and your type will never allow you to notice that. They have already conditioned your mind to think that Nigeria started 16yrs ago.

Another Nigerian who doesn't want to understand the issues on ground but just wants to have his 5mins in the spotlight. Nigeria was an utopia before Buhari came in? None of our refineries was working, Boko haram controlled almost 3 states, the Naira had already been officially devalued at the twilight of Jonathan's Presidency, the price of oil plummeted to less than 50 dollars per barrel from 140 dollars per barrel at the peak of Jonathan's Presidency. Nigeria was paying monthly stipends to militants and terrorists to "protect" our pipelines, we had a national security adviser that was sharing money meant to procure weapons to political associates!.
You honestly expect the effects of all these to die and go away in 10 months? Jonathan your Messiah spent 6 years buying second hand jets and ships for our armed forces and you expect Buhari to come and perform magic in 10months? You must be very stupeed!

I just want to know before we continue to talk, all we are hearing is Jonathan's 6yrs is the most corrupt in the history this Lord Lugard birthday gift to Flora but during the 6yrs with 18k you can buy 2 bags of rice and still transport it to the house but now one bag is 18k

This is a man that rejected the results of every election he contested until the last one he won. He vowed monkeys and baboons will soak in blood if he doesnt win last election. Now here he is as president, ordinary re-run election he can't handle and still wants us to trust him with 2019 general election. Uhmm!, law of karma una welldone. They say those who live in glass house don't throw stones. Buhari don throw stones tete, nemesis is just catching up with him. I wish him best.

I put it to you that Anybody who uses that 16 years bullcrap was born in the 90s..it is only such juveniles that will get sold on that mediocre excuse..Nigeria has always suffered power blackout since her independence, she has witnessed violent massacres and religious unrest for decades.. The first coup was carried out on the basis of corruption by the political class of the day..even buhari ousted shagari based on the allegation of corruption..IBB did the same on buhari...so anybody who says our problem started 16 years ago is a LIAR..ironically, 2 of the men who ruled the country 30-40 years ago have come back for round 2 grin tells you a lot about the Nigerian people.
