What's the sizes all about? Why don't u guys devote your time to talk about the SIZE OF BRAIN of the inhabitants of the States...A way out of the present mess? Such should be a more meaningful discussion for a mostly big for nothing space that is Nigeria? Hardship everywhere yet someone opens a thread to talk about states' sizes ![]() |

The quantity(size) does not matter but the Quality. |
| Re: List Of Nigerian States By Area by Ramnon2: 4:44pm On Mar 23, 2016 |
Interestingly, the smaller the states are in area, the bigger the quality of the human resources. Empty desert land versus full human brain. Which would you take? |

ha ha ha ha ha lagos is small but is a mini country by all standards(because of the presence of IGBOS) so is anambra which is next to it in size too ! akwaibom abia imo enugu are all doing well bias aside, if the regions in nigeria should be rated, SE is number one because of the simple reason that THE FIVE STATES IN SE aint poor check NBS for more of what use is size when its just empty lands which will likely remain that way 100 years from now? |
| Re: List Of Nigerian States By Area by neuroneXY(m): 1:24am On Mar 25, 2016 |
TheBiafran:SE has little or no useful natural resources,optimum human resources,and poor land for agricultural produce,the unbias ranking is thus 1.ss 2.sw 3.ne 4.se 5.nc 6.nw if u lie i go tell. |

neuroneXY:State Sustainability Index BudgIT published the final info known as "State Sustainability Index". This is the rating of the states by their financial sustainability. It factors in the state's IGR, as well as its total debt stocks, AND recurrent expenditure before arriving at its final figures. This is the standard formula used in calculating state sustainability index: https://s10.postimg.org/e7aovv8ih/IMG_20151109_201854.jpg Using the formula above with IGR's and debt stocks previously posted, below is the ranking of the states by their sustainability indices: https://s10.postimg.org/mqu2tmgux/IMG_20151109_200416.jpg From the table above, it can be deduced that Rivers State, with its high IGR and relatively low debt, is Nigeria's most sustainable state, with Lagos, Enugu, Delta and Katsina all trailing in that order to make up Nigeria's top 5 most sustainable states. Counting from the bottom, on the other hand, Plateau, Osun, Nasarawa, Borno and Ekiti are ranked as Nigeria's least sustainable states, with their low IGRs and inexplicably high debts. On a personal region-by-region ranking (gotten by adding all the indices for every state in each region and dividing by the number of states in said region), the South-South is by far Nigeria's most sustainable region with a cumulative average sustainability index of 8.27 Coming a very distant second is the South-East with an index of 6.43 In third place is the North-West with an index of approximately 5.45 Number 4 is the South-West with 5.43 Coming fifth place with an index of 4.39, is the North-Central And scraping the bottom of the barrel at last place, is the insurgency-torn North-East with an index of 3.97 Download the PDF here: http://www.yourbudgit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/THE-FATE-OF-STATES-Final.pdf https://www.nairaland.com/2732630/latest-ranking-states-financial-sustainability |

Chai see why SE is so deserted |
| Re: List Of Nigerian States By Area by ibedun: 4:34am On Mar 25, 2016 |
Standing5:SE is dead. SW must start protecting itself from the refuge seeking Igbo population. |
| Re: List Of Nigerian States By Area by Nobody: 4:40am On Mar 25, 2016 |
Most of Lagos is made of Water.. I think that alone makes Lagos the pin point for business in Nigeria... |
| Re: List Of Nigerian States By Area by 8xtr8r: 6:02am On Mar 25, 2016 |
ibedun:If SE is dead why do ass-licking minions whine, weep and wail at the mere mention of Biaf...on every available media page, with many of the miserable bigots earning a living on pay-per-post basis just to attempt to quench the call for self-determination? If SE is dead why would some Yorubas be sent to go learn skills and trades in Aba so as to improve the economic fortunes of SW region? If SE is dead why is Osun - a State in SW in comatose and bankrupt with its citizens merely surviving by the kind donations of other Nigerians? If SE is dead, why is that inspite of the much taunted 'sophistication' your SW is still ranked below NW in the State Financial Sustainability Index (which factors in the state's IGR, as well as its total debt stocks, AND recurrent expenditure)? FYI, 1.South-South is by far Nigeria's most sustainable region with a cumulative average sustainability index of 8.27 2.South-East with an index of 6.43 3.North-West with an index of approximately 5.45 4. South-West with 5.43 5. North-Central with an index of 4.39 6. North-East with an index of 3.97 Download the PDF here: http://www.yourbudgit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/THE-FATE-OF-STATES-Final.pdf It's only confused bigots who rarely stand for anything would go about with lies and propaganda to attempt to lessen their miseries. |

8xtr8r:technical knockout! Yoruba's believe so much in amala statistics..for the fact that we have Chinese working in nija does not male nija better than China. The Yoruba's should bury there amala faces in shame, if a region that came out of three years of deverstating civil war could be a match and overtake them is a clear indication of there inferorority to the Igbo's..no apologies. |
