Ok, maybe I am ignorant.

To the best of my knowledge, a bricklayer moulds blocks/bricks.

That gate was mounted by (1), an iron bender/fitter, (2) a carpenter, (3) a mason.

That is how it is done in my area. The two pillars holding that gate is all concretes, not bricks.

A brick layer moulds blocks and a mason fix those blocks to form a building.

a mason is also a Bricklayer. I know it's the collective effort of the artisans,however I decided to mention only the Bricklayer cos he works with the building plan and decides where the Gate would be mounted

U re just funny, if they do the same work, why different names and different definitions?

Wait a minute, a bricklayer now works with a building plan and decides where the gate would be mounted?

Whatever happened to the engineers? (civil engineers).


Please, just make proper use of your phone and know the definition of a bricklayer and it's job in construction of a building project.

For your information, an individual can be trained as a bricklayer and also a mason, the same way an accountant can as well bag a degree in law. It does not in any ways suggest that the job of an accountant is the same a the job of a lawyer.




Like I said, the only job of a bricklayer is to mould bricks/block for the building.
