You better make amends with your husband, don't let celebrity fake life fool you. Cut down on your public eye, limelight, party party thingy... No better advise. Am a man and we are the one that can give you the best advice this time.

You didn't have time for your husband and he looked elsewhere. That's real life.

Body no be firewood.
Shut ya gob

Her husband had an affair and his infidelity even resulted in a baby and you STILL find a way to blame the woman. Best advice ko

Famous socialite, Toke Makinwa has finally spoken up about her failed marriage to estranged husband Maje Ayida. She went online yesterday to introduce her next Vlog

Before You Say I Do and she thought it wise to address the issue of her failed marriage.

“I won’t lie since my personal life suffered a public setback last year, talking about relationships left me feeling a type of way, kind of like I failed at mine so who am I to talk?” Makinwa said.

The 31-year-old’s marriage crumbled last year after Ayida cheated on her and also put his mistress in the family way.

On her birthday last year, Ayida sent her a loving note which she responded to, and next, they turned heads at the Future Awards event.

There were previous speculations that she made peace with Ayida, but the OAP set the records straight in early March. “I am single,” she wrote, driving the point home about her status.

Now, she says she it getting stronger and bold enough to dish relationship advice.

“I am getting comfortable again in my own growth and I am learning as I go so we can all learn together,” the OAP said, adding, “We are the sum of our experiences so i am no longer ashamed, I have been given a platform and it’s my duty to share.”

Just look at your comment again and tell me if it made sense to you. And how are you in their home to know that she didn't have time for him? Men like you always want to blame women for their shortfalls and get away with it.

Why d marriage failed?

No reason, even if I don't know. But tho! Am not surprise most celebrities marriages are falling like wall of Jericho dis days. Some of the d females/males celebrities think they are compatible and some thought marriage is a place of rest not knowing there is a lot work they will do 2gether to make their home an ever lasting one.

That is Omotola and her home, it's not like she's not facing the hard time in her home, or her husband is not facing it big time having that kind of beautiful wife (am sure there will be many men out there that are ready to offer her anything to ball in to her life and dissolve her home, regardless of her marriage) but yet he knows how he handle and control his life and issue.

Abeg d most of all is dat we should be strong in God, so he can always lead us and guide every of our doings.........

Question is, since the decision of her husband to quit, has she been having diggin it out with another man.

If yes, she cant claim to be single to draw sympathy.

If No, i wish her all the best.

Firstly, you don't know what happened in her marriage and even if she didn't *have time* as you put it, there's no excuse for cheating.

Secondly if it was the wife that got pregnant by another man would you also tell the husband to *make amends with his wife*?

Women are not statues they have feelings too and things they should not have to bear nonsense in the name of marriage. She should live her life for herself and not some man that cannot respect her or his vows.

My lady,i still believe your failed marriage is as a result of your stinking social life.I remember one of those days you claimed to be going out and your husband will be indoor which i believe he was lonely. You stayed out there for days rather than spending time with him.You gave room for the devil to strike. To me,you should pay attention to him next time.

Oh! It is well with women.
when she decides or cla8ms to be the career woman, junketing around the country, attending parties , and functions while leaving her husband unattended how does he survive? Marriage and family comes 1st, ask her when was the last time she cooked for her husband? She played a good part orchestrating the break up.

All these empty headed, dull, face-masking, clueless, lazy , feminist indomie girls sef!

...and due to her ego, she has refused to take the dude back despite pleas.

As God liveth, Toke, you are. Our mother, every woman is. Our mother, the role of mother to the child is very ntergrated. We men we always missbehave, expecially if God gave ttle change, so is the duty of every woman to manage her husband. 2. If God bless woman like you do, you must. Realise that your humility must multiply if not you. Will have problem, because every man believes. That when. Woman. Is bless they always proud. My advise to all women is to exral chareful when you're bless with a husband. No maTter the blessing that God gave to woman if the woman really want to enjoy man, she must humble the more. Men are like. Small children if you show them cane they will ran for you, but give the luxciriuos thing they will always come. Back to you. My sister, I no how you. Feel and there many things you can't. Disclose publicly, please endure for the sake of God and for your personal dignity. $500k for one night? shocked. I'd do it for half.

Seriously though, Toke and her hubby have come a long way. Since the days of few dough, plenty swag. Now they got caught up in the whole celebrity mess thing and they are letting it get to them. Regular people also have flings and children 'outside'. Get over it Toke and keep your man.
Are you alright?

She should get adopt a child and move ahead with life.

Toke and others like her owe a responsibility to younger women to change the cultural narrative that women need to see marriage as a neccesity which must be preserved at all cost. Thats a big fat lie.

A woman should not be treated like crap, and if it happens, she has every right to move ahead with life without the man

Jesus never married.

The stupidity in her attitude would definitely play a part in the break-up. In fact she's lucky I didn't do something drastic last time she tried nonsense with me. Pls Toke, next time you're up in the club I'm playing at and you come at my in the booth with that stupid whistle you were blowing in my face the last time, I may NOT be as restrained. Dimwit..

Take him back when he already sired a son with his mistress?

Can you advise a junketeering man to take his wife back if she get pregnant by another dude?

Don't mind them...talk of double standard. Smh.

What peeps here don't understand is that marriage is more or less like a contract...an agreement. ..and any breech in contract in which one or both partners don't find favourable. .they can both sit down to adjust the 'terms and conditions' or decide to dissolve it.
Re: Toke Makinwa On Her Failed Marriage – “am No Longer Ashamed” by afroxyz: 9:34am On Mar 27, 2016
I am sure if the scandal had not broken out on social media, Toke would still have remained with her husband. However, the husband messed up badly. Its easy to say she should stay with her husband (which I recommend), but how do you spend the rest of your life with someone who has betrayed your trust?

This is the same type of thinking that necessitates adultery. Selfish thinking. Going into marriage thinking of only yourself without considering the wider implications. That's why any challenge that comes your way, you would readily want to find the easier way out, which is dissolution. Take the blinkers off. You have to work at your marriage. Hillary Clinton did not divorce her husband during the Lewinsky saga. Guess what, two years ago, she confirmed that her husband, Bill, is not the father of their only child. Yet they are still together. That's what marriage demands of you.

Individual differences...

Working out a marriage involves TWO people..not one.
Some women can cope with their man having other wives and kids, some can hang on to a marriage where they are being 'abused' while some can't even tolerate cheating.
we've got different threshold and different levels of tolerance.

Cheating is disrespectful enough but having a kid out of wedlock? ?? that's the height of betrayal
How many men out there will accept back a cheating wife and another man's kidhuh One in a million maybe.
And who says they are divorcedhuh She might just need time to heal.
