ziccoit:

If GEJ, the Mr Hero had won the last presidential election for the 2nd term, nothing would have been left of economy with the level of corruption that would have been allowed to go on unchecked; BH would have spread down to the South with above 75% of Nigeria under terrorist control; he and NOI would have started selling Nigerians to slave trade to make more money available for stealing; GEJ would have sold everything Nigeria; coup de tat would have been staged and either GEJ killed or arrested and kept in jail; Nigeria would have been thrown into unending crises; we might have had a civil war on our hands by now.

So, voting Buhari was the best decision the brilliant among Nigerians made. That golden decision has saved my country from irrecoverable destruction and total collapse.

Zombified fellows will always console themselves with ridiculous and stewpid statements, but who I'm I to query them? Even with the so called corruption perpetrated under GEJ and OBJ the economies back then were not even 1/30 as bad as that of this foolish old lanky goat called mumuhammado mumuhary. Mumuhammado mumuhary is the greatest disaster to have ever befallen a country and only fools will argue that.

NB: I didn't call anybody names but directed my statement at APC zombies before one person go jump from no where with ban... undecided

I was not able to vote due to my being in a profession that is classed as ''essential duty''

But if I voted ,it would have been for the Kowa party or even one of the other smaller parties.

Having said that...the government has taken over at a time of low oil prices, and at a time of falling income...which makes things tougher.

But so far they are doing some things right

1.Getting a handle on inflation by the restrictive forex policy.

2. Talking about diversificaiton.

3.At least spending more on education.

What they need to do however is

1.Remove all subsides. Fees, fuel price, etc need to go up.

2.Spend more on Power.

3.Ensure that public transport too gets more spending.

4.Spend more on education.....especially technical education.

5. Ensure improved local production...especially from SME enterprises.

6.Cut costs...by cutting excess civil servants, and spending less on frivolities.

All these your recommendation are very harsh. If he d govt apply ur recommendations, there will be Massive Protest all over Nigeria

I voted for him knowing he's got a lot of challenges to face. The road will always be rough especially In the beginning and that's where we are. All we will keep doing is Pray for him and all those in government to be successful in the end.

Yes...I know. I know they would be harsh and they would affect me personally....I have civil servants in me family.

But ...we no longer have the cash. Either we do austerity....or we go and borrow more money from the IMF and World Bank...leading to more debt which would be hard to get out from.

Today makes it one Year we casted underperformance out of Aso Villa. Do I regret anything? YES!...That we didn't do it 4years earlier. My confidence in PMB is UNSHAKEABLE, if elections repeat itself today despite the current situation in the Country, I will even vote for Baba's clothes over his counterparts. What is happening today is the resistance of the devil(s)WITHIN & WITHOUT. Democracy has a minimum 4years cycle for a reason, because challenges aren't resolved overnight. ● Nigeria is a better SECURED Country TODAY despite the persisting challenges ● Nigeria's treasury is better SECURED today than in the past ● The Economy is now on a restart, budget has just been passed, things will begin to fall in place one after the other. Myself and other # ChangeAgents will continue to play our part which is to continue to mount pressure on Government to fulfil its OBLIGATIONS. May Buhari Succeed!!!!!!

I would have voted for a rat to become president rather than to have GEJ continue in office. If Buhari doesn't perform then I will vote against him in 2019. But GEJ was not an option during the last elections and he can never be.

One year, so far,so bad. Its been a government of shattered dreams and hope. Full of failed promises and political blunder. Only God would help nigeria out of the miry clay of buhari's confused and disoriented style of governance... Its such a shame that buhari as the conductor of nigeria has collected our money and has refused to give us change rather we have being shortchanged.

I dont think that the north voted for change, the north just voted for Buhari as a northerner and a muslim, If APC present a yoruba candidate in 2019 and PDP present a northerner, PDP will win the election

Are you saying you've forgotten when there wasn't even black market to buy under GEJ In fact this time last year, schools hotels hospitals even telecoms companies and every other darn institution in the country was shutting down due to total unavailability of the product and Phcn wasn't even flashing at all? Why didn't you complain then?? This fuel scarcity of a thing has been around since I can remember!

Regret kee!!! We voted Buhari to eliminate PDP. He has done that within one year. That is done. Next now we can tackle economic problem now that the senseless looters have no access to illegally cyphone public funds. We can now release money into the economy. Any money released into nigerian economy with any form of PDP influence is useless because they will just take the money for their family.

Best response have heard so far. My dad is a Banker and he told me last week that CBN is trying to mob up excess cash in circulation and this your answer help me see why. They was so much cash in circulation

Even in my state, Akwa ibom, the governor was a Banker but he is not releasing money as Akpabio did. I guess it's for the same reason.
