We all know pdp almost ran this nation to d ground. We know! And we condemn them for it.
But we can keep blaming them instead of clearing the mess they caused. One year will soon be gone n u r still blaming.
which mess are you talking about? What they did is looting then get them arrested , force them to refund the loots and use the loot to repair the nation but trust what our government will rather do is to recover a little they can and wire it into their own personal use, this people have nothing to offer us.

People have forgotten that
- NOI said she had developed hypertension trying to borrow money to pay salaries. By now, I bet Nigeria would have borrowed again from IMF. They would have been in charge of our economy by now. Just ask Greece.

- BH were on rampage with all of Borno state except Maiduguri under their control. Maiduguri is the size of Lagos, Oyo and half of Ogun state.

- stealing was not corruption, now it is. Or do you still think that Dasuki and co did not steal?

- our reserves went down from about 60 billion during OBJ to less than 35 billion, at a time oil was selling for the highest amount in ten years.

I could go on and on

And you guys will just open mouth and spill lies. Are you saying you've forgotten when there wasn't even black market to buy under GEJ In fact this time last year, schools hotels hospitals even telecoms companies and every other darn institution in the country was shutting down due to total unavailability of the product and Phcn wasn't even flashing at all? Why didn't you complain then?? This fuel scarcity of a thing has been around since I can remember!
Mtcheeeeeeeeew.

Recall that Fuel Scarcity of April 2015 was as a result of the fear the marketers had about the incoming (Buhari's) government. Aside the fuel scarcity of January 2012 (when the pump price was increased), we didn't experience any other major fuel scarcity during Jonathan's Government. Correct if I'm wrong with facts and dates

P.S. I supported Buhari in the Last Elections. He's not doing well but jury is still out. I'll pass my judgement at the end of his first term.

The mess is the looting and other forms of corruption. Unfortunately the ones parading themselves as change agents are the same.

If GEJ, the Mr Hero had won the last presidential election for the 2nd term, nothing would have been left of economy with the level of corruption that would have been allowed to go on unchecked; BH would have spread down to the South with above 75% of Nigeria under terrorist control; he and NOI would have started selling Nigerians to slave trade to make more money available for stealing; GEJ would have sold everything Nigeria; coup de tat would have been staged and either GEJ killed or arrested and kept in jail; Nigeria would have been thrown into unending crises; we might have had a civil war on our hands by now.

So, voting Buhari was the best decision the brilliant among Nigerians made. That golden decision has saved my country from irrecoverable destruction and total collapse.
God bless u my man. cool

I dont think that the north voted for change, the north just voted for Buhari as a northerner and a muslim, If APC present a yoruba candidate in 2019 and PDP present a northerner, PDP will win the election

Not if the west, east, south, 'midwest', unite as one, vote for same candidate against that of the north. It must be understood that while the north unites and collectively vote as northerners, the south votes divided, playing stupid.y into the hands of the north - 'divide and rule'. This is the anathema of the south. AWAKE SOUTH!

MARCH 28:THE DAY, JOURNALISTS FAILED NIGERIANS

I hereby as a communication student tendered unreserved apology to Nigerians for the betrayal of public trust on information management entrusted on journalists.

We failed you. We fail to make you have access to the right and unbiased reports or information that could have made you take a rightful decision on the presidential election that right now, our actions seem to be a clog in the wheel of the nation's progress.

We made you kick against good for bad. From better to worst.

We made you kick against transparency for conspiracy.
From openness to eventually everything even employment in secrecy.

We made you kick against corruption fighter for corruption feeder.

We made you kick against a manageable fuel scarcity regime for unmanageable or direction less unabated fuel scarcity regime. From vehicular queues to generator queues. From black markets to black filling or fuel stations.

We made you kick against improving electric power supply for increasing electric power outage. From light to darkness.

We made you kick against dream builder for dream destroyer. From the removal of the less privilege street beggars to school to the return of privileged school children to street begging.

We made you kick against wealth creator for wealth destroyer. From encouragement in businesses to discouragement in trade.

We made you kick against the dragging and improving security situation in the North-East for worsening and increasing insecurity situation to almost every corner of the Nigeria life. From semi peace to seemingly semi war.

We made you kick against decreasing electoral violence or killing for increasing and seemingly unabated blood tasting or bloodletting or war like electoral violence. From peaceful elections to deadly electoral processes.

We made you kick against the purchase of foodstuffs at affordable rate by many for increasing unaffordable rates for several scores of people. From stable and decreasing cost of commodities to unstable and increasing cost of living. From right to life to right to death.

Once again we are sorry for the poor management of public information as we regret the untold hardship it may have caused you.

Forgive us as you continue to pray for God to imbued in us the spirit of fearlessness and in-favouritism
as needed to do our work effectively as communication students either practicing in the media as journalist or in any organisation performing any communication function.

how will Nigeria ever move forward with this kind of attitude her citizens posses? it appears most have retrograde amnesia concerning what has happened so far.. and why we have to make some choice and some though sacrifices.. the only ones regretting are those who saw then as a messiah nation building is a gradual stuff. forget about most campaign promises, y'all were fed what you wanted to hear.
lets go back memory lane..
corruption prosecutions; court process stalling it. since we don't want him acting tyrannical as he is democratically elected;
economy; i support his stands of Dollar limitations, Foreign reserve and so others. but would have preferred his is more diplomatic about voicing his stance in public. the crude oil price wasn't of intrinsic cause, we have to survive this drought harshly since we failed to save t=during the raining days. mind you the panic that would have followed a crashing foreign reserve would have been more catastrophic..
boko haram; am impressed.
Biafra; am impressed also.
power; am disappointed grossly..
fuel; grossly disappointed..

a long lasting solution should be put in place for Fuel and power issues.
tongue maybe they is typo.. but if uv got time, u can help me point dem out. cool

that's true what baffle is that whenever I read comment on nairaland, all I read here is giving me concern then I concluded that there is no hope for this nation under this set of goons call our government because most nigerians are suffering and they are blaming their past. A man can't be successful whenever he blame his failure because of his past. Shame to sai baba chanters , shame to pdp e warriors.

It's unfortunate that most people here only see things at face value. Unarguably, Buhari has more than never before restored some measure of sanity to the way we do things in this country. That to me alone, is greater than all the paper achievement of PDP's corruption Laden 16 years in charge. That said, we voted him for 4 years, and I am sure by the end of the period, even the vilest of the wailers would be shamed by the giant stride achievement of Sai Baba. I would vote him 100times over than sticking with the clueless, 'stealing-is-not-corruption government'

no one is blaming. Its because we are impatient. You guys are quick to point accusing finger forgetting that dis country was already in mess before he came into power . You guys just need to be constantly reminded the type of economy he met. Just give him time. At least we gave Jonathan more than two Years before we complained
Apc and their supports blame all the time! They have been claiming all good projects that spilled of to this and blaming the past govt for the policies they have failed on.

The reason nigerians are not patient is because the promised heaven on earth as soon as they grab power but what did we see 3times the hardship we faced during the last govt. If things have been d same as the last admin, I will also be calling for patience but thats not what we r seeing today.

Let's counter your point, but first I don't give a f abt PDP, PDP and APC are the same damn thing..

1. Wrt debt, how much is Nigeria borrowing daily? As specified by our budget?? Check that up-dont embarrass yourself. The previous govt borrow based on need which embarrassingly include salaries. The current government borrows daily, regardless of the so-called loot they've recovered.. Or so they say

2. BH was completely eliminated that 6weeks to election, they were forced into hiding.. So its not nice to lie to yourself

3.stealing is actually not corruption, if you're educated enough you'll understand that. Both are vices but not same. For Dasuki and co, they're still innocent until a court of competent jurisdiction find them guilty. Only a judge or jury can actually say they did steal- the law could be pretty annoying sometimes, not you. BTW, those guys are still leaving in wealth and affluence, don't be deceived, Nigeria is heavily messed up. If you're related to Dasuki or Metu, you'll get job faster than a bullet in this messed up country.

4. Your figures are incorrect, you could have researched exactly figures before using it as a point. Well, how much is our reserve now? Are you aware its at the lowest ever? Go figure out the exact figures. So what did we achieve with the depletion?

Its pointless to defend the government... PDP, APC are the same damn people, the government don't give a f abt u, previous, present and all governments! The current fuel scarcity -how long has it been? How is light in your area? We all pray and hope the government succeed, but let's not lie to ourselves, they are doing pretty messed up job now. BTW, heard The president saying we should go fight vandals ourselves of we want light? (The spokesman speak on his behalf, remembe?)

When I will take you and buhari serious is when he declared his assets publicly like president yaradua declared after winning election and how come $150 million dollars was traced to his account in inland bank London when he was PTF chairman.
Once he is exonerated from this two we will know that he is disease free.
