What's The Big Deal About First Body Of A Car by Nobody:
Am not clear about something? I want to know why people attach higher value to a car with first body as against a car that has been repainted. Most of the tokunbo cars have also be repainted expertly before yet people still refer to them as first body. I have a friend that does car painting work for some dealers and after the autobaking, they sell the cars as firsthand tokunbo yet nobody will ask question about the body but the moment it's a Nigerian used car, the first question will be is it first body. Lots of the cars imported into the country are accidented and worked on. So the question of first body might not even arise in most cases. Just my humble observation

The reason i want first body is because i prefer to do an accurate body work i.e panel beat from the original instead of some shody potty filled jobs that will no look good but just to improve market value of the car.

2ndly and basically, a first body is a true state of the body while you may not know what is under the fresh paint.

Some people just like painting their car periodically to maintain the glittering colour even when there is no body dent. To me it is still first body but second paint. Maybe we should start having such clarification

First body is just a mind thing, at pristine automobiles we can get your car looking as good as new even if it is the 'third' body. smiley

First body equals original weight of the car no more no less.
