I have an idea for google maps. it will really improve and expand the usage of the said map but I don't know how to go about it and also get something like a reward for it.
Please does anyone have an idea of how to approach them safely and still get a reward?

If you are talking about sitemap and how to summit it to Google, read below..

Generate your sitemap using xml. There are many online website where you can generate your site map for free. Then summit the site map to Google using webmaster tool..... For more, ask Google or visit Ogbongeblog.com

If you are talking about sitemap, simply create yours like this http://mysite.com/sitemap.xml

Are you talkibg about GIS programming using google map as base map?
What problem does your application solve? That will determin. The monetisation of your solution
