These people are the eyes & nose of mr president in the national assembly, if mr president needs details I believe it shouldfirst come from them.....meanwhile is the appropiation deal done in secrecy? If any detail was tampered with, isn't it supposed to be public seeing that the senate house session is always televised live....why ask for details that was debated in public? What are the special advsiers on national assembly doing?

The same people complaining and urging the president to sign the budget without him knowing the details of the amendments made by the National Assembly, will be the same people that will call the president a dullard for signing a budget without reading it, if he's to sign it now and some mistakes or fraudulent insertion were to be discovered in the budget after he signed.

Exactly, if he signs without reading, they say he is a dullard who cannot read before writing. If he reads and refuses to sign, they say he is a dullard and cannot understand what he read.

Senate signed a budget after it amended it, its only logical to return the signed budget with details of what amendment they made. Without it the details, only a fool will sign.

Why for goodness sake would the president sign a budget that has no details? Do you people realize that we are talking about billions here?

We are still saying the same thing. The details mr president seeks should be provided by his special advisers on national assembly matters. If they can't help facilitate it, then I do not know what their work is.......This little issue could drag for another month and half, and we would have spent 5months without a budget. Then implementation of the budget will now be below par coz of slow-start.

It's actually not about errors. It's about him being sure that his strategies don't get ruined. In teh past once the budget was appropriated, the do called Min of Finance would proceed to move money allocated for one objective/purpose to the other. This government cannot afford to repeat the errors and fraud of the last government so it is important that they check that the sums earmarked for each object/purpose are exactly where they left them otherwise they might find that while the total amount of 6 trillion is there, it has been allocated to purposes that are not the priority of this government. This will automatically mean that for the government to fulfil it's promises it will need to misappropriate funds just as the last clowns did.

They should scrap NASS. They are useless anyways. Then Buhari should better say what they are doing that is wrong. This game both of them are playing is not even sophisticated.
