alatbaba1:1. The first books of the scriptures were written in ink and on scrolls. 2. During the tribulation, there will be internet then but limited to those who have the mark of the beast, which without it one won't be able to buy and sell. How will you be able to buy subscription data and even charge your phone when you don't have the mark of the beast to have money to pay for such services? Do you know you are going to be hunted down during the period? For those with the mark of the beast, searching for things like Bible scriptures on the internet will be of no use to them. 3. Where will you have your phone charged to enable you view such toll free apps? 4. Of course, cos they can move about with it and read it anytime without having to bother about getting it charged. |

bloodyBLOGGER:I totally disagree on the notion that d bible was first written in ink. Do you know Hw many difference between the old testament and new testament? About 400 yrs apart. It was during d Era of Jesus that ink and printing work was booming. How sure are you that ppl will actually hv time to study the bible. As I thought ppl dat will nt make the first rapture will have to undergo series of unspeakable punishment, they will use their own blood for d redemption of their soul. So I guess it will be suffering al through. No break, no resting till the third coming. D bible verse u have offhand will keep u going if u have any. I guess u watch too much of nollywood movie. No time to read even printed version of the bible. Will d anti christ even allow it? |

I still maintain my point that printed Bible is the best, I could remembered while coming from church one day the police ambushed us on the road but I was able to defend myself that I was coming from the church because they saw Bible in my hands while some people were taken away by the police. Will your smartphone save u from this kind of situation? Yes this is very true, has happened to me too |

alatbaba1: ![]() alatbaba1:i can see that your knowledge of the word of God is little and mostly confused by pastorpreneurs. First, there is nothing like rapture except you are one of those who misunderstood that verse where the word appears. You guys have been fooled do believe you will safely escape the tribulation and be tucked away in the sky while sinners suffer. Who will preach to the sinners when you so-called saints are gone? Since they are sinners and sinners do the bidding of Satan, don't you think there won't be any need to pay for their ransome with their own blood? They will just continue obeying the devil. But with Christians around, they will be made aware, through preaching, of the coming of Yahshua who will save them. Today's Christians are very funny and lazy. They don't want to surfer for their faith. Look at how the early disciples died; majority were hanged, stoned, fried alive and fed to the lions in gladiator arenas all for their believe in Yahshua. Do you think it will be different in out time? Yahshua is the author and finisher of our faith which means we must also go through what he pass through but in different fashion. stop believing that false doctrine that says you will escape the tribulation. pls, google about how false the rapture is. alatbaba1: ![]() |

| Re: Are smart devices replacing printed Bible? by Nobody: 9:17pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
Frontier2:Well, that is what I am using! In fact, it has been a blessing to me. For instance, the bible that I am using on 'bb' has about 20 translation, and also the one on my Laptop is about 25, with numerous dictionaries and commentaries which is not possible with printed bible. Let me say this, if I should buy the various books and dictionaries and commentaries with all different translations that were embedded in my PC Bible one by one, I don't think one Hilux Pick-Up Van will be load them finish. That was why I opted for the Study Bible Soft Copy. |

using bible applications on smartphone is not bad is just that we are proving to ourselves that technology has taken the order of the day in the wide world but even if you have thousands of bible applications on ur smartphone is incomparable to the printed one, even in the church they reckoned with the printed one. The one on smartphone is just like pocket phone. The printed one has greater advantage than the one on our smartphone too. What baffled me most is that many people just install bible on their phone as a camouflage. so please get both the printed version and the smartphone own but not only getting them on your smartphone as a camouflage as I have said earlier but find time to study it. |

It's depends on what you are doing with your phone. My phone is my help mate, I read books, Bible and do lots more. Printed Bible is also important though |
