Goke7:He's right partly and all wailers know that. APC did not cause fall of oil price BUT APC promised magic and things they know they cannot do. Plus Buhari's delay in forming cabinet with poor economic policies have been very detrimental. Nigeria's lack of diversification is a long term problem. Buhari is part of the problem like many others. Because he ruled before and had no blueprint for diversification in his 20 months stay. |

Respect Akpabio, the Situation in Nigeria today is same in Venezuela , Angola in short most of the country that depends over 70% on Oil . It is a lesson for the wise one to use this opportunity to be Creative. If you as a graduates are unemployed, think of what to do to get you bussy and profitable , ask the Carpenters in your area for help as an apprentice or painter in your area , Mechanich, Farmers.you must be produktive. Stop puting your blame on Buhari as a graduate you must Shows what it means to be a graduates. Today Nigeria, Bricklayers , painters , Farmers etc they earn more than a graduates that fold his arm and waiting for Manners to fall from heaven 1 Like |

The basic fact is that PMB led government coincidence with drastic fall in price of oil globally which is the same in Venezuela (opposition party just took over),they are experience the same economic crisis as Nigeria which does not tantamount to incompetence of the present administration. This is the consequence of monopolized economy.kudos to PMB team coz oil revenue only represent 13.7% in 2016 budget which will good for our economy in the long run bt Nigerian will face little bit hardship for now. |

No one is saying APC or the tyrant caused the worst economy in Nigeria history. We are simply saying that the illiterate in Aso Rock and his gang of inexperienced cabinet are not equipped with adequate knowledge to arrest the situation and to add salt to injury the dullard put a property lawyer in charge of electricity and housing and nominate him, an inexperienced soldier and cattle rearer as Minister of Petroleum. The Minister of Economics doesn't know simple arithmetic. That is what Nigerians are saying. Diversifying the economy we have been shouting. But the slowpoke flies here and there leaving us all at the mercy of venture capitalists. |

Drop in Oil Price is the cause of Agatu killings. Drop in Oil Price is the Cause of No Electricity. Drop in Oil Price is the Cause of Super Eagles Woe. Drop in Oil Price is the cause of "Am not a Magician by Kachikwu" Drop in Oil Price is the Cause of Yanusa child bride. Drop in Oil Price Is the Cause of Buhari failing to Condemn Agatu killings and other killings by the Fulani Herds men. Drop in Oil Price is the cause of "Take up Arms against Pipeline Vandals by yourself" Drop in Oil Price is the Cause of Everything. Nigeria is the Only Producer of Oil, so the Drop in Oil Price Affected only Nigeria. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Goke7: When did Akpabio become my mouthpiece? He's a politician, all of them speak from all corners of their mouth. And they all share the money when me and you are not there. What they say depends on which favour they are seeking, how "bellefull" they are, which favour they didn't get and so on. Talking of dragging Buhari into it, Akpabio mentioned APC, abeg has buhari now defected from APC to another party? |

If this is not denied tommorow, then it is clear that pdp is not ready to come back from their painful defeat. Lai muhammed, Tinubu, Buhari etc will never say something like this. These people do not know politics. He should tell us how much was oil price when buhari was promising heaven on earth! States have been owing salaries before the election and the senseless herd man said he was god with a magic wand to stop all these. 1 Like |

AreaFada2: He mentioned APC is not the cause so wetin be Buhari own, is it today politicians have been talking from all corners of the mouth? The issue here is that the harship we are facing today is beyond the present Govt's making simple. Akpabio was just trying to be non partisan by being diplomatic here. |
Re: APC Not Responsible For Current Economic Hardship – Akpabio by banmee(m): 1:03pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
sibepoc: Nigerian citizens are responsible. For some undescribable reason they fail to see that. Nigeria has been corrupt from day one of our independence and just three years of it there was a coup. The reasons for the coup according to the coup plotters was basically corruption and marginalisation. The same corruption we are still battling with today. That's over half a century. Since then, there has been one corrupt leader in Nigeria after the other. Granted there was nothing it's citizens could do during the military era, but we've been in a democracy for a while now. Instead of Nigerians to demand their lawful rights, they are busy taking sides with i.diots they call politicians/leaders and voting them into office. These guys didn't just appoint themselves or fly there. They were put there by Nigerians. Who else then is to blame but it's citizens. |

Why Won't Akpabio say such thing, when he gets 24 hours electricity, Full Tank for him Ride, Food for him table surplus. Common Nigerians out here are Suffering. And we have government in Seat. They should all just step down since they can't rule the Country with Drop in Oil Price |
