Lol

They all look little projects from a little mind.

Let the gov go to places like Gombe, Gusau or Bauchi to see how grandiose projects like this Okowa's are.

When you tell the Niger Deltans that their enemies are within. They tend to take offence.Their so call oily states I doubt if there is anyone that can compete with Kano state in terms of development, even though Kano never gets 13% oil derivation.

Look at the small sized buildings we are seeing in these pictures, with all the money (past and present) that Delta state receives, this is the best they can come up with? Nigeria has just not been blessed with good leaders at all, sadly.
This governor has absolutely no charisma, just looks dull.

Delta State Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has assured Deltans of his administration’s commitment to the provision of quality health care in the state. The Governor was speaking when he paid an unscheduled visit to the ongoing Asaba Central Hospital and the State Library Complex projects.

Hei said that his administration was committed to completing priority projectswhich are beneficial to the people. Senator Okowa, who was conducted round the ongoing Asaba Central Hospital Project by Dr. Nicholas Azinge and top management staff of the State Ministry Of Health assured that the project was of top priority to government because it would provide quality health care services to the state capital territory.

He's not the one that started d central hospital, it was started by Ibori, and the hospital is at 80% completion before Uduagha left. So Okowa wants to complete it. We r hoping he does.

Since democracy, delta state has been caused with useless governors...Okowa won't do anything, he has been complaining that there is no money despite receiving huge sums from FG allocation... Useless governor

I'm seriously praying for okowa to perform better than d past governors bt having a debt of over #350b n monthly wage bill of #7b, i tink he is going to struggle to initiate or execute capital intensive projects.

Uduaghan looted d state dry n i wonder y EFCC has nt even mentioned his name nt to talk of investigating him. D state account general had to go into hiding because he was tired of signing cheques dat was nt meant for development purpose

Honestly, it's a depressing situation....No sense of hope that anything tangible will be done in the next four years...The so called empowerment programs have been one of the biggest jokes ever....
The Asaba axis, one of the highest oil producing state, is comatose....Warri axis is the walking dead...The riverine areas have been past dead long ago....All our previous governors have failed us woefully, but we have always rewarded them with 2nd term...
Hopefully we go get sense for once, boot out this failed Ibori lineage, we know what we will get from them. It's incredibly nuts that we always expect something different from this same crew that's has ruled Delta since 1999 and maybe we can stop carrying last in development...

Why can't Okowa probe Uduaghan? Delta has been operating turn by turn come and chop government...
It's Okowa's turn simple, they will always gives excuses why we should accept our sorry state. When they all had a hand directly in putting us here.

It is high time we deltans vote for candidates that are worth it and not one useless governor that won't do anything for years...If after 4years okowa doesn't have anything to show he should be booted out..No more automatic 8years again... Go to other states and see infrastructural development... See road construction, educational development, rehabilitation 9f government state schools and universities etc....You will never see anything like that in delta, then one fish head will go to an abandoned project of 16 years and will claim that is his achievement after 4years...Enough of ibori boys controlling delta state... We need development now

My village Ogwashi uku in Aniocha South LGA has not seen light for more than 5yrs with no pipe borne water, to make the matter worse bore hole water can't be drilled. Basic social amenities especially water should be provided to all the villages in Delta. let the oil money be used to develop all part of the state.

I'm with you 100%. But we both know politics in our state is a lot more complex than others..Them go soon say, Delta South don start marginalization again. Urhobo did 8years, Itsekiri 8years now it's Igbo turn we want to start complaining....
That's one, and we have a tendency of giving so much power to criminals and warlords, who have in turn hijacked the electoral process in the state. That's what we really need to address.
The smartest Deltans are no where near the corridor of power in the state, those who are have been influenced and corrupted by our thieves.

Bros, there is no single part of Delta that the oil money is developing. The riverine communities are an eyesore, they have nothing absolutely nothing there, expect big tank farms and rigs that drill oil...

Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa is from Owa Oyibu in Ika North-East Local Government, he has nothing to do with being Warri origin. But on a lighter mood his Political name is Teethson. Being a true deltan who supported okowa, I must tell him that he should do everything possible to develop the state. The hospital in question should be given priority and finished within the next 9 months these projects have been this way since ibori. He should know that also for the central football pitch (not a stadium) housing the state sports commission, that have remained that way since ibori. I wonder what's in a central library that former governor Emmanuel couldn't finish.

Okowa should know that much is expected of him we trust him to deliver, he has no choice. He has to prove his mettle. He most have visible developments across the three senatorial district, he must not always use proxies. He should come out he should be a visible and a known governor. That's the only way we can fight for him.

Okowa show come out and be seen. He should visit every part of the state. He is condemned to change the pictures of Asaba and Warri for better. Has that area close to refinery road been fixed?

He should not forget that politics in our state is very aggressive and people will fight him to take his sit. He should work before they make him unpopular. OKOWA PLEASE DO NOT DISAPPOINT US WHO PRAY DAILY FOR YOU.

I want to be here in Lagos and hear of your giant strides. I want to visit delta again and know you are in charge. Please let this message get to him. A hospital that is being built since ibori in Asaba will be criminal if you don't complete it and the people take it for granted.

Okowa, these guys will fight you. You know them, you know our people, they'll fight. Please work for the masses.
Ndcide have said his. I pray some how this gets to you.

He better deliver!

But if you and your people choose to fight him because of his ethnicity, its important you know that he has Anioma, Ijaw and Isoko behind him.

Delta. Another state yoked with poor leadership in perpetuity. Wonder why the APC has not shaken up the place. The state needs the kind of competition only true multi-party democracy can offer.

I am from Ika south. We voted massively for you believing that when you become the Governor, the rot and decay caused by the neglect of the previous Governors will be addressed..As I write this all the roads in Ika south are impassable, they is no electricity because presently the so called electricity is less illuminating than candle light. This is as result of out dated transformers which have not been replaced since electricity was commissioned in the Locality, Ika south. We the Ika south use this opportunity to appear you to look into these before things gets out of hands
