hello everybody is it mandatory for ladies to change their surname after marriage, just curious?.

So that you can grow up.

We met it like that.


The problem is I don't like 'lalasticlala' as a surname.

Some ladies still attach their father's surname to their husband's surname after marriage though!

The Bible does not state it anywhere

But i dont think a daughter of a successful man would change her surname, like daughter of dangote,otedola,buhari or jonathan.

My wife can use her surname in the middle of her name, there's no law to back the practice of name change, some things we place importance on are too stupid.

We are talking about humans here and not some commodities. The question is does the husband owns her? The answer is no.

But how many women these days who prefer not to change their surnames are daughters of these people?

Changing surname isn't compulsory as long as the woman's husband is okay with it.

The issue on changing of Name is not Important but its Neccesary . Meanwhile the two have become one flesh
