Its obvious apc people don't listen to the masses cus if they do, they would realise that the masses are sick and tired of all their blames on past leaders. Buhari and co should just do what they are elected to do or get out.

When a Adam failed instead of asking for forgiveness he started blaming the wife God gave him.

Shameless incompetent old fool blaming the past leaders when he cannot maintain their legacy and standard of living

Aliyu, the Nigerian-born ICAO president commended President Buhari for strides on anti- corruption, and urged Nigeria to pay more attention to development of civil aviation
Like seriously that's the only thing anyone can talk about this administration, even though after one year there is still no convict.
We wasted our votes.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday in Abuja blamed past Nigerian leaders for the country’s economic troubles as he said they led without discipline.

He recounted that for the greater part of the last 16 years, oil sold above $100 per barrel but expressed regret that the nation did not have much to show for it.

“In the First Republic, more enduring infrastructure was built with meagre resources. But in the past 16 years, we made a lot of money without planning for the rainy day.

“We showed a lot of indiscipline in managing our economy, and that is why we are where we are today. But this time round, we’ll do our best” the President said while receiving the President of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Bernard O. Aliyu at the State House.

The President, has at different fora blamed the past administrations ruled by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for ruining the country’s economy.

President Buhari stressed that there was an urgent need to ensure that the potentials of Nigeria are harnessed and used for the good of the country.

“Nigeria needs to work on her potentials, so that we don’t remain permanently at the level of potentials.

“If Ethiopia is sustained largely by her airline industry, we have greater potentials here. But we must move out, engage with the rest of the world, as we need to re-establish the integrity of this country. We need to rebuild this country again.”

Aliyu, the Nigerian-born ICAO president commended President Buhari for strides on anti- corruption, and urged Nigeria to pay more attention to development of civil aviation.

“Civil aviation is a catalyst for economic development. The level of aviation development in any country mirrors the economic development of that country,” Aliyu said.

The ICAO president pledged to support the development of the aviation industry in Nigeria, urging the country to improve on training and capacity development, aviation security, aerodromes and air navigation, runways, control towers, terminal buildings, among others.

Someone is beginning to sound like a broken record... and he was a past leader too. Ah well, I guess he was voted in for these sound bites. Mr. President, you aren't saying anything new; you were voted in because the populace wanted things to be better and not for you to repeat the woes of the past. I keep seeing "in the past 16 years" as if Nigeria never existed before then or corruption on non-existent pre-16 years ago. The combined loot pre -2000 will triple that stolen in the last 16 years.

How much did General Buhari met in 1983 as foreign reserve after oil boom of 13 years? How much did he leave behind by 27th August 1985? How much did he meet by 29th May, 2015? What was Nigeria's global economic position in 1985, and now? Can he spear us these crabs and ask Amechie, Fayemi and the old governors' forum on how they stop serving for rainy days, by their court action against ECA?
I am beginning to hate these rhetorics.

Things are hard, yes. We knew from last year that this year might be tougher, and the policy makers warned us to prepare our minds towards such, yes.

We made a disastrous mistake not building financial buffers or infrastructure to cushion the effect of such a sharp decline in the price of our major forex earner even though we knew too well just how volatile the oil market is.

Today, we are paying a huge price for the indiscretion of our leaders past.

Solutions are being worked on and we are hopeful before long, the indices would start looking upwards. We aren't in this alone fellas, every other major oil exporter is feeling the pinch as well.

Funny how people insist CBN open its doors to all forex applicants, that that is the panacea to our present hardship. Dudes, it is projected if that is done, what we have as reserves can't even sustain us for three months!! It is simply not an option!

This situation will pass, I believe.

Lastly, the president needs to have a second look at Adesina. Dude doesn't seem to be playing his role like the nerd he is.
what solutions re that Bro stop defending these government pls, like j martins said, let these government give us a time frame, we can't just be suffering everyday, haba......

Hmmm. I am tired of this excuses, are u saying that countries with oil can't survive? What about doing something different as u promised cause we expected change from u not this blame game." Even Gov. On APC plantform blame their predecessor who are also APC. With this I am convince MR PRESIDO has no plan or ideology when u were coming to power. Oil price started falling during GEJ time and u should know that and u should have other alternative be course many countries with out oil survives
