Former Spokesman of the Nigerian-Army, Brigadier-General Olajide Laleye, has been sacked from service. We cant forget the role he played in the controversy surrounding the school leaving certificate of President Muhammadu Buhari in the events leading up to the 2015 General election.

The Nigerian Army Council has retired two senior officers, Brig.-Gen. Aliyu Momoh, who was indicted in the conduct of the 2015 elections in Ekiti State; the former spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Brig.-Gen. Olajide Laleye, and other officers.

The former Director, Army Public Relations, Laleye, who later became the Commander, 4th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, addressed the press on the controversy over the secondary school certificate of the then presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

He had said the Army could not find the results of the West African School Certificate Examination of Buhari, who was Nigeria’s military Head of State between January 1, 1984 and August, 1985.

Buhari, who was contesting the presidential election as the candidate of the APC, had claimed, while submitting his nomination forms to the Independent National Electoral Commission in 2014, that his WASCE result was in the custody of the Army.

The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, confirmed that “Gen. Momoh and others have been retired from the Army”.

The Army spokesman did not give further details of the retirement.

He deserved the sack after not upholding to the Oath of Office he took when he accepted to serve the Nigerian Army. He is not a loyal soldier but a cash and carry one. He should thank his stars he wasn't sent to jail. He should have cooly retired after PMB won. Well, he should just go back to his village and enjoy the rest of his years. . . . God bless Nigeria.

Nigerians will soon understand the meaning of "change" ethnic and religious cleansing is going on in all sectors. Fulani herdsmen kill people in hundreds but non of them has been arrested and prosecuted while the Nigeria Army can easily arrest innocent and helpless villagers who try to protect their lives and that of their families from those murderers.

Has Buhari been able to provide his certificates now?

With his sack, have they now found the certificate? E ye tan ara yin. (Stop deceiving yourselves). The only thing this government have carried out vigorously and successfully is to witch hunt and persecute perceived enemies.

Very simple issue, since buhari is now in charge, Why not prove him wrong by providing the certificate, atleast 2 set the records straight once and for all, so that I can be proud to tell pple that my presido is not a nepa bill certificate holder, cos as far as this issue remains this way, oga buhari has no waec certificate
