I'm pained as i read this. I live in Rivers with and alarming rate of Kidnapping; at least 10times that of Kaduna..And virtually nothing is being done or declared in the State..Its pathetic. I'm sure if the issue of a State of Emergency is brought up i Rivers State, people will politicize it as an APC/ PDP battle.

Please we need same here in Rivers State... Am an indigene of Ahoada East, we can't sleep wit both eyes close, always gun shots...
Small businesses are closing up, extortion, kidnapping, robbery e.t.c on d rise....
They never care if police or any security force are present, they carry their atrocities both day and night...
They tell u face-to-face if you can't pay them pack out, i.e. If u r lucky.

We need SECURITY Beef UP in ORASHI General... From Federal.

My brother i strongly agree with you. It almost feels like selective justice because the Police have accepted it as a way of life in PH but has decleared an emergency over a few reported cases in Kaduna.. I dont get it.
