By saying he "infected" you continue the empty Tinubu-inspired narrative.
And by not allowing your biased brain to comprehend that under no administration has our national wealth been looted like Jonathan's Shows how deluded you are.
With no apology, posterity will not forgive Sambo Dasuki, Allison Madueke, Badeh, Saraki Bukola, et al, for the alleged looting of our treasury.

What she needs is prayer not trading on blames. Stick that to the skull of all zombies including you that shot yourself in the head with that last statement. To increase you IQ, we also good and favourable policies that give the citizens sense of belonging. If GEJ were to be the president now things will not be this worst, let truth be told except you are zombies. What PDP inherited during military rules (Abacha loots) is worst what APC inherited but instead of reviving the economy they are killing it for lack of good policies and rule of law. May God give the zombies even small sense to understand the truth and stop the blame game . Amen

Nigerians are jus too gullible for my liking.
They are so much concerned about their immediate condition. And careless about the etiology of their chronic predicaments.
Take it or leave it, Jonathan government was a curse to the nation Nigeria. I couldn't imagine how much was stolen by his team players. But because the effect had not begun to show before he was voted out of office, people still praise him till date.
This case could be likened to a promiscuous man, who was flirting around with everything under the skirt, EATING OTHER PEOPLE'S YAM, and in the process, contracted HIV/AIDS, but not known to anyone. This INEFFECTUAL BUFFON, later infected his beautiful wife with HIV/AIDS. And because of his waywardness, his wife divorced him. And there's a good man in town, who had track record of doing good. This good man chose to marry the woman. And shortly after the marriage, the woman began to fall sick, showing diverse manifestations: weakness (liken to weak security), drastic weight loss (like the unprecedented naira fall against foreign currencies), chronic headaches ( threats to national security), chronic cardiovascular diseases ( liken to fuel shortage). Unfortunately, the former husband and his blind supporters jumped to the street (the media) telling how sick the woman that just left him was. That if the woman had remained with him, her condition wouldn't have been that bad. It would take people who have enough protein in their brain to know that the former husband was the one behind her woes.
Nigerians, wake up! The previous administrations had weakened our nation. It would take awhile before this present administration could salvage her.
Let's pray for healing for this woman, Nigeria. Divine healing is all our once beautiful woman, Nigeria needs. As things are, only God can heal our land. HIV/AIDS is incurable! What she needs is prayer, not trading of blames!
Guy no kill yourself over this man ooooo, tell the Daura President Buhari to give us fuel make we charge phone.

I can tell you you are wrong. Have you adjusted Abacha and IBB's loot for inflation?

What about OBJ's $5 billion power saga which brought us phantom dams and 0MW of additional power.

GEJ's era was marked by corruption but it is not exceptional in that regard by any stretch of the imagination.

A lot of the opaque oil deals that continued till GEJ's time were OBJ era deals.

I am not biased and don't care one way or the other about the man.

I just don't like when people who have not read the history of their country jump in with superlatives about issues they should read about.

I also put it to you that you are biased. You are one of the teeming bunch that have been riled up more against Jonathan due to propaganda and ethno-religious consideration.

His government was corrupt but calling it the worst in our history shows you have no knowledge of said history.

Prove me wrong: Without googling, when was the subsidy regime started?

Without googling, Name the sequence of actions that destroyed our civil service

Without googling? Which piece of legislation was the greatest contribution to Nigeria becoming the petro-state it is today.

A lot of you shouting change cannot accurately describe Nigeria's problems because you don't read, have poor policy knowledge and are very ahistorical. Shouting change is not bad but not have the knowledge of the problem or the ability to bring solution makes you nothing more than someone who simply hated the man who was in power before.

Kind Regards,

God Bless.

Some of you are so brainwashed that you cannot read between the lines. You need some level of IQ to understands some of the postings on Nairaland. Unfortunately, some of you are in the habit of opening your stinking buccal cavity before consulting your hitherto empty gumption.
In the allegory, I pointed it out that the previous ADMINISTRATIONS, and not just Goodluck Jonathan's alone, had weakened the nation before the present administration. But expectedly, some of you are so naive to distinguish between singular and plural. I only made copious reference to Jonathan's because of the massive corruption that characterized his government. And if you don't see anything wrong in the huge money siphoned by Allison Madueke, Sambo Dasuki, et al, I may have to doubt if you're from a sane community.
Your arrogance is nauseating.

If you meant ALL past administrations why did you use GEJ on your headline? Why did you single him out in your opening paragraph?

Why do you seek to exonorate PMB by omiting his name from the narative even though he was among the very first leaders that raped democracy out of Nigeria and got her into economic comma in 1984?

He is effectively repeating the same scenario in 2016 and here you are, a teenage nutcase, trying to explain a situation that your tiny brain-bandwidth could not contain.

RE
I'm happy you admitted there was massive corruption under Jonathan's administration, just like under OBJ's (Halliburton, &co), Abacha's (Swiss accounts), Babangida's (Gulf oil money), etc. if you have consistently read my write up, you wouldn't say I'm biased. I criticized Babangida's administration. In fact, I was on the streets with other youths in Nigeria, as an undergraduate, in early 90s, in many of the public protests against his administration . Ditto for Abacha's. Ditto for OBJ's. Irrespective of who you are, or where you come from, if your government is corrupt, I will express my opinion. I'm not a bigot. I just couldn't imagine how people looted our treasury the way they did in the last administration. We all know Buhari's stance against corruption. That's what endears him to some of us. Some of his followers are corrupt, but then none of them could openly rape our country the way it was done during Jonathan's administration. Looking back at his stint at d helm of affairs in 1984/85, and in his almost one year in this administration, will you say Buhari is corrupt? I think, the worst I have heard about him is religious biases.
So, ethno-religious biases? Count me out. I'm a Christian, as against the Muslim Buhari, and I'm not Fulani or Hausa. I'm a Nigerian. Free Nigerian. I'm not a politician. Not even a card carrying member of any political party. Good governance is all I want.

I agree we have to appreciate some Methuselah who have been around for ages, though we doubt if they are not plagued with amnesia already. As it appears you're older than Nigeria, could you please, browse your megalocephallon, and tell the world any previous history of corruption linked to Buhari?

You don't need to look into history to see how corrupt your little god is unless you're blind. He put the corruption in your face when, for the first time in the history of Nigeria, it is about to be passed into law as an appropriation bill.

A legalized fraud/corruption being touted as 2016 budget.

An upright man would have withdrawn the proposal, but no, your angel lobbied for its passage (without making any ammendment on the ducument). Yet, this was the same document for which he just sacked someone, even though he was the one that created the document with his cronies. (Hint: that was the reason for the first 6 months of silence and zero appointment of "noise makers"wink.

But do you even have the mental capacity to comprehend what's going on in your face right now? What then makes you think you can comprehend history when it shows up?
