I dontadd milk to his milk based cereals simply because i have tried itand it purged my son and since it is written that the cerral contains milk so i don't bother to add milk and i am at peace. Uou can give a bottle of milk seperately probably once a day if u are not satisfied with milk in the cereals.

Wot was his weight at 6wks, and currently? I ll advice u focus on d breastmilk too. Those supplements may not b necessary. You, eat and rest well too.

Mamas, at what age is it safe to breastfeed baby while lying down?

It's not adviceable to breastfeed while lying down, but for me, I even started from the hospital bed to breastfeed while lying down. Infact the nurse positioned us well and supported with pillow so it can be comfortable for both of us. Infact we are both used to lying down to feed her even during the day, as am talking to you now, na on top Bobby we dey while lying down.

Am not telling you to do as I do lol just Dat I ve been doing that and no problems at all.
I make sure her head is well elevated by using 2pillows to keep our head plus my hand to support her.

check ur immunization card, its 10mg for less than 6 months and 20mg for 6 months and above.

That may work out better for you especially as you have twins.

Unfortunately creches dont do 2 for 1.

Find out what the going creche rates are for your babies and then factor in your salary, fuel/ transportion, feeding for yourself at work etc. Including a nanny as well as your usual household outgoings and see how much of your salary is left!

If you take a maximum of 3 extra babies, between 6 months and 2 yrs and work from home as a child minder you may find out that you may be better off at home.

Dont forget, the cost of a nanny to help you out may be necessary as well as extra cost for running a gen for longer. If you set your prices (weekly or monthly) just lower than the official creches for it to be competetive and set the hours such that Anything outside the stipulated hours can be charged as extra. Its very doable. And you have the added benefit of seeing your LOs.

same with my baby o he is refusing ors too. I grounded d zinc and put it inside spoon with water gave him like normal drug followed by breast milk. I also did sugar and salt solution by my self and he is taking that one very well. check ur immunization card on how to prepare d sugar and salt solution.

I believe a one year old can eat oats as long as the child likes it. Do make it a light consistency though

ORS is administered to replace lost electrolyte.If your baby is stooling a lot, you might want to keep trying.You can ask your paediatrician if salt and water solution would do the same work.

sugar and salt solution not salt and water alone. meanwhile ors and this solution do same work, try and Google it and also confirm from ur immunization card, how to treat diarrhea is written there.

Depends on d nature of d rash. If its heat rashes, try rising raving powder. it works for me.

If you have ruled out any heat related causes, or reaction to toiletries and it doesnt seem to be bothering or itching her ..... just leave it.

Babies at that age sometimes develope rashes which can be due to leftover hormones from her time in her mum's tummy. This will usually clear up on their own in a few weeks.
It happened to my dd from 6 weeks and it didnt clear up till she was like 12 weeks.
It will be hard to ignore but be patient.

However, also watch what mama is eating for example my DD breaks out in a facial rash when i eat groundnut! So i have had to avoid or reduce the intake when i can.

If you are worried or it seems to be bothering her you can take her to see a peadiatrician .
