[quote author=asha90 post=44539151]Shut up illiterate, read this from the New York Times. Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first president of Nigeria. Kill yourself but that is the bitter truth. Go to school you no wan go. Rubbish! ]

Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial head of state..

He had no executive, legislative, judicial or constitutional authority and he held no ministry..
He was not the commander in chief of the armed forces..
He was like what the queen is to England..
Or like what the traditional rulers are today..

He was just a figure that would maybe go as a spokesperson to present Nigeria on the international stage..

In all effects and for all intents and purposes Tafawa Balewa was the first president of Nigeria in the sense of what you call president today..

I get the point you are trying to make about the people from what you call your state are great etc..

Baring in mind that all these so called states are a creation of the Hausa Fulani and (one) Yoruba soldiers who ruled for 33 years of anti-democratic and anti-republican military dictatorship that followed the genocide of Biafrans for their own internal colonialism aspirations and for the purpose of turning what they call Igbo's' (who entered into independence as almost 70% of the whole Nigeria) into a voiceless political and economic minority..

And all those states are powerless anyway as spelled out by 'schedule 2' of the 1999 fraudulent military constitution under the '68 item federal exclusive list'..

All the state governors are essentially just casheers who dispense little monetary handouts to selected people as approved, regulated and dictated by a bigger circle of political authorities that are unseen by the public..

I really find it pitiful that some Igbo people are so asleep as to hold those states as valuable components of their identity..
It's absurd..

Some of these words like Imo, Abia, Delta, Bayelsa etc didn't even exist at the time when Nnamdi Azikiwe and Ojukwu were born and were growing up..

Azikiwe was born in Lagos if it helps you to know..

If you asked Nnamdi Azikiwe or Ojukwu where he was from he would have told you he is from the '"Eastern region'"..

In all effects the states are colonies of the Hausa Fulani people in case you don't know..
Just like Nigeria is a colony of Britain..

I don't understand the nonsense you wrote but the fact is that Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first president of the federal Republic of Nigeria. Deal with it.

Your postulation is not false..
It's partial..
And it's conditional..

My previous comment wasn't a challenge to yours..
It was an expansion of yours..

Otherwise your claim would have been incomplete..

If you go to Lagos today Yoruba people will tell you that Nnamdi Azikiwe was a great Yoruba leader..

Talkless of Abia state or Anambra or whichever so called state you claimed he was representing..

The states are all fraudulent organisations nonetheless..

I don't know what kind of fake federation in which the centre creates and regulates the federating units..
All by imposition and by intimidation..
Seizing the lives and assets and rights of everyone..

And you are still here talking of which state the guy is from..

The sooner you reject all those illegal states the better for you and your generation..

Owerri

Owerri has no manufacturing or service industry, the taxes of Owerri can't build even one of the good roads Owerri which you display.

The lack of basic knowledge by a state governor that the capital development budget of the state is meant for provision of development infrastructure to all parts of the state; not in the state capital alone; that's what you are celebrating. Oil boom has now finished.

Enjoy below part of the ruins of Orlu as done by this govt..

1, Old Owerri road, a road most clustered with population in Orlu scrapped and abandoned running to four years..

2, Road to only Girls secondary School - Morning Star - in Orlu Urban, scrapped and abandoned running to four years.

3, another ruins of Orlu running to four years

4, a four years abandoned road at the centre of Orlu

A governor who is bent on losing political relevance after his guber tenure just because of his hatred for some people in a section of the state.

Even if Okorocha builds a tower of Babel in Owerri and makes the city another Abuja, it adds little or nothing to his political worth after his tenure as governor.

Uncompleted roads every where, some left for death traps in Orlu: this is Amaigbo Road, Orlu's most traveled road.

Who told you Owerri has no service industry? Stop making ignorant statements!
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by mandax: 8:24pm On Apr 10, 2016
Pchidexy,
Name one Service industry that can contribute N1 million tax to Imo state govt coffers in a year.

But one of the bypass roads built by Okorocha in anticipation of expansion of Owerri could cost Imo state govt more than N5 billion.

As Okorocha uses Imo state and 27 local government councils allocations to build road byepasses, flyovers, Bongo and other Squares in Owerri, 18 storey House, while roads he started and abandoned in Orlu choke people with dust, you people clap.

Owerri has no manufacturing and Service industries that can contribute even one-millionth fraction of the billions of Naira which governor Okorocha uses in building his projects in Owerri at the neglect of rest of the other LGAs in Imo state.

Lots of things have been going wrong in Okorocha's Imo state.

Why don't you start the service industry instead of wailing out of bitterness with lies? That way you have the overdue right to demand for infrastructure to your industry. A na akogheri.

What do you think makes me cry here over Okorocha's misdeeds in Orlu?

I started a small scale manufacturing industry in one of the roads in Orlu when Okorocha contractors embarked on some road expansions in Orlu - the govt later abandoned the roads for building flyovers and bypasses and all sorts of buildings in Owerri - even where nobody lives.

You people clap as Okorocha uses Imo state coffers to satisfy a tiny minority in Owerri, at the detriment of the rest of Imo state.

By 2019, you shall do "ntoor gi" Rochas Okorocha, laugh at him, when majority of Imo state abandons him and his politics.

The civic centre Abagworo is showing here is more or less like the Sam Okwaraji Stadium which Rochas dismantled in Orlu, and has not been able to build a new one after about five years he dismantled the stadium.

It took Rochas govt less than six months to build the civic centre and other Squares he built in Owerri.

We can only judge Okorocha comfortably by 2019. The man is second only to the legendary Mbakwe in terms projects done. Cool down, he won't forget Orlu.

I am from Orlu. Where do you want me to be concerned about? Owerri? Did the federal govt create states for the state capital only?

Abagworo can post Owerri photos as many times as he wants, the rest of Imo state are not confused.

The projects Okorocha uses Imo state govt money to do in Owerri, if he spreads even one-hundredth of the projects toward Okigwe, Orlu, Oguta, Ahiara, Akokwa, Mgbidi etc, without abandoning roads he started outside Owerri, who will come here to have time about Okorocha and his government?

Lol,
by 2019, it shall be too late to judge Okorocha, because he seems to now see a state as only about the state capital, more so, since he joined APC when he started to abandon the roads he started to build outside Owerri, and took to spending the state's allocations only on Owerri.

You wrote this same nonsense before 2015 elections and I told you that Rochas would win virtually everywhere in Imo State. True to my words he won 21 out of 27 LGAs to beat PDP's inflated votes. Lie never triumphs over truth.

I know of only one road which has not been completed which is one lane of old Orlu/Owerri Road to ITC park. So can you list other roads?

I've posted more than 200 pictures from Orlu or do you want me to start over again? Okigwe town to me got the least from Okorocha's administration. Before Okorocha Okigwe was a bigger and more thriving town than Orlu but barely 5 years later Orlu has surpassed it. Okigwe people should be the ones demanding for at least 3 dual carriage ways and city expansion. Owerri Road was haphazardly done and still uncompleted while Okpara Road and Ubahu Road up to FGC need to be dualised.

Your mentioning APC gave you away as being partisan hence judgement beclouded by insincerity. The picture below is central school Umuna Orlu along dualised Amaigbo road. Okorocha constructed both the school and road. True or false?

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 11:36pm On Apr 10, 2016
Still along same Amaigbo road, the large strucures with green roof is the Orlu central market built by Okorocha. True or false?

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 11:40pm On Apr 10, 2016
You can view same market driving down from Owu Avenue equally constructed in Orlu by Okorocha adorned with coniferous trees.
