Oga, where you learn this one from? To even think you're a blogger or blogger wannabe. Try and do your findings very well before saying things you're not sure of.

Sometimes it's just time for a change.
Our routines get boring, our habits
get boring, and our lives seem to get
boring. The good news? You can start
changing that right now. Just
remember this one thing: the only
person who has to think your life is
interesting is you. It doesn't matter
what you do so long as it works. Are
you ready to step up your game?

www.ntel.com.ng is their website and there's nothing like NITEL because it was sold to a new owner.

Obviously the Op doesn't know how telecom networks turn profit.

All that you ask them not to do are the things that bring home the bacon.

They are paid for all those annoying sms. Do the maths... Let's assume they get N1 on every junk sms received by their subscriber... Some cost you N30/month

There is no SERVICE in the world that can be cheap and fast. It's either cheap and crappy, or its premium priced and great (fast).

NTEL is currently looking for Billions in loans to roll out, and you expect them to provide cheap voice calls... Even the finance institutions will ask for them to bump up their call rates so the income flow increases and they can pay back within a shorter period.

It's a business and sole purpose is to make profit...

The OP even listed his website "igbodefender" as part of popular sites that subscribers should enjoy cheap data to access...

and how will they make that money of they continue with the current trend?

First, people don't like change. I don't have 4g device yet, but I'm planning to buy one if their service is encouraging. You won't expect me to buy a 4g device if their data plan looks like that of mtn or expensive Etisalat when those networks never stopped working.
Besides, in the game of mobile network operation, quantity matters. The more the quanity of people joining the network, the more profit provider wwill make.

In sane business climes, you could have made a few millions by giving the company this clues. But here, no.
Some 4years ago, I packaged some great ideas and gave to the CEO of struggling newspaper in lagos. I told them that this is just the highlights of the solutions and that I will collect 300k which I won't like to receive all upfront but when my ideas start producing results.
He was happy and said will get to me. The next month I saw them putting to work some of those summary!!
I wasn't surprised when they still folded up less than 9 months later. Something that would have been avoided.
They put to work some of your summary and folded up 9 months later and you feel you advised properly? If they had implemented up to half your blueprint, they prolly wouldn't have seen 2 months! Lolz. Na joke I de joke oh!

Then ntel is dead on arrival! We got too many scammer network providers already rolled out here for us to be bothered by the emergence of another intending to operate on the same principles. Na by force? Biko leave trash for lawma. (stale yarn I guess).

Nigerians can now get your NITEL SIM card, and start making calls with the network. This is because NITEL has finally rolled out its GSM services, after years of expectations from Nigerian GSM users.

But NITEL faces stiff competition from other networks that have entrenched themselves over the years. Having said that, there are service vacuums they can fill and thereby have a jumping start at winning the hearts and money of Nigerians.

Without further delay, here are 6 tactics NITEL should apply to win the hearts of Nigerians:

1. Don’t Allow Unsolicited/SPAM Messages: One thing NITEL should not do is allow unsolicited spam text messages to be sent to its users. That is one thing that annoys Nigerian GSM users a lot and they can port from a network just because of that.

2. Provide Cheap & Fast Data: Nigerians would surely embrace NITEL if it provides cheap fast data services that enables Nigerians to enjoy their favourite sites like Facebook, Nairaland, Igbodefender and others. But if NITEL data services are poor or too expensive…

3. Provide Cheaper Calls: Look at the call prices your competitors are offering per second, and then charge much cheaper than that. The word would quickly spread and Nigerians will flock to your service.

4. Say No To Poor Network Service Delivery: There is a certain network whose workers have boasted that they always meet their financial target for the year by September every year, and after that they begin to slack in providing good network services – but they don’t mind. NITEL, even if you meet your financial target by March every year, don’t use that as an excuse to slack. Remember: Nigerians are not fools.

Instead Use Blessing Okagbhare
And use this Slogan... Blessing is fast but NTEL is faster

Please go do your research well before you mislead your readers. Mtel & NITEL has been acquired by a private consortium. It's no longer government owned although they still maintain a share in it, they don't have enough to earn them controlling power.

Also, it is now called ntel and not NITEL. Google is your friend biko.
