Tribalist!!! You want Igbo man to be vp for your own selfish interest not that of Nigeria, with this your clannish mindset I bet you 2019 will go the same way as 2015; People will only vote based on ethnic interest not performance. Fo0L.

PAINS OF CHANGE I went to a filling station in Akure with a friend who is also part of my accreditation team. We became so close and went through the city together. After we got fuel at 180 naira per litre, he asked if i would vote and support Buhari again. My answer was a simple smile. The type of smile which silently pronounces positive defiance and resolution. I told him I had just eaten and if I would need food again later today, tommorrow, next week, next month, next year and every other day, then it means I would need for my country, a good leader, an honest leader, a selfless, resolute and courageous leader. I would need Muhammadu Buhari. I know we are passing through difficult times, I know Nigerians are groaning under harsh conditions. I also remember the relationship between mother and child. When children are hungry and crying, the mother quickly runs to prepare a meal. As she does so and the hunger increases in the children, the cries also increase. The mother becomes increasingly worried. She pacifies the children asking for some little patience for the food to be well cooked. The mother can not feed her children with raw food simply because they are crying. To do so will be to make matters worse as uncooked food could be harmful to children. But once the food is ready, the mother serves the food, the children eat, they are satisfied, their cries are swept away by smiles, joy takes over the pain. Such is the story of Nigerians and their chosen leader, Buhari. I remember one day in my primary school. I was a positively stubborn child and one day , I stepped on a pin which penetrated my left foot. I cried out in pain. My father sat me down on the ground, raised my leg and tried to remove the pin. He pulled and I yelled and cried. The more he pulled, the more I cried loudly. The pain was unbearable. I was soaked in sweat. I cried and I cried. My father looked at me and I could see his face...it carried my pain; it felt my agony and expressed my desperation. But in spite of all that, he did not stop. He pulled until he brought out the pin. Blood gushed out of my leg. He managed to stop it. He washed my wound, cleaned my leg, applied iodine and bandaged it. I felt relieved and after some days, the pain went away, my leg got healed and I was happy again. Can you see why this process of CHANGE and national transformation must go on? Buhari ia a true father of our nation, he feels our pains. He feels our frustration created by saboteurs, he is desperate to end our suffering but he also knows that after this little period of pain, there will come a long period of relief and joy. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a war between the people and enemies of the Nation and the people will win.

Change is just a word, so also happiness, joyful e.t.c
Those who complain and point their fingers at the president for not giving them the so called "Change", my question what have they done in their own capacity to imbibe the change mantra in their own everyday lives. The change mantra starts with the people, the president is only 1 person, he is no superman. We have to realise that the collective will of the people is far 'stronger' than that of some politicians, the people make the system, the system doesn't make the people.
The change starts with us, until we do a deep soul searching, am sorry to say 'we'll just keep running round in circles'.

Looks like Buhari's calvary is yet to arrive. They usually storm every thread guns blazing! Shooting down dissenting voices and any opposition to the 'sai baba' chants. Which in any event,is getting drowned by cries and gnashing of teeth. Even from their own camp.

No more one year, eh. You people were saying we should judge after 1 year last year, now is 4 years bah. Some people are even saying after 16 years because PDP ruled that long. I hope by September you will be saying judge him after 56 years because Nigeria has been spoiling since oyinbo handed over or after 102 years (amalgamation tins), chai, abeg I can't wait that long.

I love the way the Igbo guy made is point without beating about the bush...

Mr Chidi Okereke, a welder who operatesfrom Area 1, affirmed that ordinary Nigerians have been worst hit by the change that has come saying the fight against corruption is a distraction.

even the Hausa shayi man spoke is mind, but the two Yoruba guys were still defending Buhari even the face of the government clear cluelessness and lack of fucos and direction. a good number of the Yorubas need a TRANSFORM mind.
Yoruba are more educated, if PDP failed to build refinery for 16 year's to stop importing of fuel to run d country, do Nigeria want Buhari to build under a year. Forgetting the Oil boom is over, what Yoruba called " Imo oni nakuna" wasteful spending nation.

You did not tell us mothers hardly eat before attending to hungry children needs. Our President, Governors, and lawmakers have the fattest salaries, allowances and pensions in the globe. While we as their "children" do not have power they have 24/7/365 uninterrupted power supply, while we do not have transport fare they have private jets and garage full of unused exotic cars, while we cannot pay our school fees they have their children in most expensive foreign universities. The "mothers" recently put our "brothers" and "sisters" in top-positions in CBN and FIRS.

Most unfortunately, these "mothers" through Pastor Osinbajo have just informed us they will be taking more money from us the "children" to keep-up their own flamboyant needs.

Your loving father sat you down, raised your leg with his own hands our loving President Muhamud Buhari has been spending more time outside the country. He did not respond to the incessant killings by herdsmen before leaving home again. His lifestyles and that of his associates do not anyway show people are finding it increasingly difficult to eat.

We did not campaign for a whiner we thought we were supporting a courageous problem solver. Rooting out saboteurs is one of the duties of a good leader.

President MB led government administration may see itself as a loving "mother or father" but we the "children" see them as differently.

Nigerians have stopped dancing for the moment. It will resume soon when there is a new election and a new "leader" comes out as the flavor of the the month. Nigerians don't have a good ear for political music and will dance to anything. They are politically tone deaf.

Re: Change Slogan Is Losing Melody – Vangaurd NewsPaper by InvertedHammer: 3:45pm On Apr 10, 2016
Nigeria reminds of Moses and the Israelites on their way to the promised land. They thought it would be easy considering what they we nt through in Egypt. Half way through the journey, they grew impatient with change and wished they were still in slavery. When Moses left to have private time with God, they cursed God and made a golden image of a calf to worship. Thus, they abandoned God because they forgot that "no pain, no gain".....

This is the position Nigeria is in right now. The road to greatness is not paved with gold. Countries like US and UK got where they are through sacrifice of their citizens' blood in wars. Whatever you are going through is your own cross for now. If you can't bear it, the lagoon is close by. Survival of the fittest to thin out the herd in progress.
