I have a Maxtron 24v (2batteries). What is its maximum output wattage.
I have tried locating the DC terminals on the PCB but couldnt. Can you throw more light on that area?
Thirdly, the two terminals to be extended, is it better to use 2.5mm flex or Single strand wire & where will it be connected ( is it on the Charger or Battery.

1. 2pcs. of 12vdc batteries connected to give 24vdc. You did not state the AH rating of the batteries. I'll assume
200ah for this example. The stored energy/power = 24vdc x 200ah = 4800whrs. That value
gives you the total potential wattage of the batteries but in practice it is far less than
that. Your inverter is not 100% efficient, the batteries are not 100% efficient, the cables
have their losses along the line and so many other losses to be considered.
If i am to calculate the amount of time a total load of 100watts will run on a 24vdc, 200ah
Battery bank.
Battery stored power = 24vdc x 200ah = 4800whrs.
Batteries DoD of 80% = 4800whrs x 0.8 = 3840whrs
Fudge losses ( other losses) = 3840whrs x 0.75 = 2880whrs
Run time of 100watt load = 2880whrs/100w = ~ 28hours.
2. Locating the DC terminals can be a little tasking, it depends on the make of the UPS you are
converting like bluegate, maxtron, mercury, APC etc. I have attached two pictures of a bluegate
and Binatone UPS indicating the DC points on the PCB. Check the picture and compare with your own
PCB.
N.B To make it easier for you, connect the negative leg of the fan to the negative battery
cable and look for the positive terminal on the PCB. Remember, you must connect it to a point that
will cut off when you switch off the UPS/INVERTER otherwise your fan will continue working
until you disconnect the battery.
3. The size of cable depends on the UPS/INVERTER size, for a 650va, 2.5mm is ok but for a
1.5va that will carry a fridge 4mm is ideal. The DC cables from the UPS goes to the battery
so also the charger cable.

The Batteries i want to use is 2(100AH)= 200AH
I will like to know if there is any other component upgrade on the PCB that will make it work for Long like a typical Inverter? I will continue 2moro.

There's no other component upgrade on the PCB. With this your UPS will continue working till the batteries are drained. I have used such conversion for 48hrs non stop even with a fridge on it. (referring to the 1.5va APC)

But how much do you sell the 12v 50 amps charger? Cos am really going to need it. Hope its reliable & Durable. Is it a Smart Charger with LCD screen?

Make sure it's more presentable than mine (that's a challenge). The charger is 24vdc 50amps. Very rugged and reliable, it's a smart charger without LCD screen. The 12vdc that I have for now is only 10amps. It's not a smart charger but also very good.

I will go for the 24v 50amps cos the Battery in my custody is 200 Ah. How much is it even if you dont have it now? No where else you can procure it for a client?
