EazyMoh:people will easily take you for a fool if all they have to do is 'say sorry' without meaning it. Then they'll keep doing what vexes you. Words mean nothing to me, it means a lot to many people, but like I said, anybody can say anything. I have a friend, when we first met, she would have tantrums, embarrass me in public and just say "I'm sorry" and we would be good. But she always reverted to the same shitty attitude every week and it affected her relationship with everyone around her. I had to continually put my foot down and tell her 'it's not enough to just say it, you have to mean it by your actions'. And I can say she's truly changed a lot since then. You're not helping someone by just collecting 'sorry' everytime they display unsavoury character. Be the change in their lives |

Naff24:certain issues should never be forgotten so you never repeat the mistake. It's possible to forgive someone; this means you bear no ill wills towards the person neither do you resent him or her, but you don't forget their transgessions; this would imply being cautious around the person and maybe not divulging information ad freely as you normally would. You can forgive, but you shouldn't forget some things |

safarigirl:I wish I can be able to do this. I get angry so much. And If there's misunderstanding between me and someone it takes me time to forgive and I don't like it. I have been living in the same room with a dude for over a month now and we have not been interacting. I pray God forgive me. |

safarigirl:I agree with your point(s). But personally if I am to choose between two friends one a chronic offender but always apologizes, the other seldom offends but NEVER apologize ; I'd go with the former. IMO though. |

odinese:I know men who hardly forgive a sin and even after saying they forgive someone, they can't wait to get their own pound of flesh |
| Re: How This Picture Changed My Life For The Best by safarigirl(f): 8:57am On Apr 11, 2016 |
EazyMoh:there is no one that never apologises, but there are those who always apologise. "I'm sorry" can only cure so many ills, sometimes sorry is simply not enough |

Chuksemi:Just feel many might acknowledge your request but forget to heed to the plea. "This image is the most powerful art piece this year. The sculpture of two adults after a disagreement sitting with their back to each other. Yet the inner child in both of them simply wants to connect. Age has taught us much but what we can't live without is ego, hatred, grudges that prevents us from forgiving and moving ahead. The free spirit exhibited by children is our true nature." |
