Nigerian-born means he has Nigerian parentage

we are not talking of were he was born

even the legendary Frank Brunno was on ground to watch him

You better go and do some educational research on the difference between Nigerian-born and Nigerian-descent.

Hmmm....nice #learning new stuffs. Well then, lemme support our very own. Anthony joshua to the end. :-)

Yes. He's the real deal - support the real. The heavyweight division has never seen anyone with his type of physique and IQ combined. They always have one of the two - Frank Bruno for the former cos Bruno had zero IQ, and Ali for the latter cos Ali had a very high boxing IQ. He can also box and he packs a lot of power in his right hand. Even his jabs.

At this stage of his career, he has already beaten more quality opponents than Mike Tyson did when he was coming up. If he can make the perfect transition and improve, then he won't have a problem being an all time great. Mike Tyson for example never made that transition and the only half-decent opponent he beat was Michael Spinks (40 year-old Larry Holmes doesn't count). And he lost to all the quality and decent boxers he faced: Lennox Lewis, Holyfield Twice, and Buster Douglas. That's why no serious boxing head will ever put Mike Tyson on the top-10 greatest heavyweight boxers ever. Once you pick the trio of Ali, Frazier, and Foreman...the duo of Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield...and old school champions like, Jack Johnson and Joe Louis. Then a prime Larry Holmes (you can also throw Sonny Liston, Rocky et al around). You'll see why Mike Tyson was all about excitement than actual boxing skills and who he fought. And I'm a big Mike Tyson fan. Anthony Joshua can surpass that in achievements.

Support the real deal. cool

Lol. I'm just a boxing-buff and I've been following his career cos he's a normal who took boxing coincidentally and he's great at it. However, he's still grounded, humble, and has remained the same person - without letting the success get to his head. Everyone can relate to him and when the cameras are off, he talks like a normal guy and he's always smiling. A real one.

Tyson Fury is a bum and a grown man that acts like a kid. He just got lucky Wladimir Klitschko didn't throw that much punches when they met, perhaps due to height and reach advantage. When you watch how Fury struggled with another bum, Dereck Chisora, when they first met - you'd know how rubbish Fury is. Heck, John McDermott, almost knocked him out when they first met.

AJ would knock him out if and when they meet. AJ is a road guy and he isn't scared of no one. Only his promoter, Hearns, might want to delay the fight. AJ wants to shut him up and knock his bum arse out and the whole UK wants to see Fury on his bum. grin

Only Luis Ortiz and Joseph Parker will most likely give him problems. And maybe Haye but Haye is undersized. He'll beat Wilder, the yank hype job as well.

Luis Ortiz is a beast. I would like to see AJ fight Ortiz later this year. I also think Wilder is overrated, he only has power. If Wilder can even get past Povetkin, I'd like to see AJ end Wilder's hype train.

No, we claim them too. They are still yorubas but we did not support what they did..,

On the afternoon of 22 May 2013, a British Army soldier, Fusilier Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was attacked and killed by Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London. Rigby was off duty and walking along Wellington Street when he was attacked.[9] Adebolajo and Adebowale ran him down with a car, then used knives and a cleaver to stab and hack him to death. The men dragged Rigby's body into the road and remained at the scene until police arrived. They told passers-by that they had killed a soldier to avenge the killing of Muslims by the British armed forces. Unarmed police arrived at the scene nine minutes after an emergency call was received and set up a cordon. Armed police officers arrived five minutes later. The assailants, armed with a cleaver and brandishing a gun, charged at the police, who fired shots that wounded them both. They were apprehended and taken to separate hospitals. Adebolajo and Adebowale are British of Nigerian descent, were raised as Christians, and converted to Islam.

On 19 December 2013, both of the attackers were found guilty of Rigby's murder. On 26 February 2014, they were sentenced to life imprisonment, with Adebolajo given a whole life order and Adebowale ordered to serve at least 45 years. The attack was condemned by political and Muslim leaders in the United Kingdom and in the international press.

This is another Nigerian..a citizen of Britain...making us proud too:

Abubaker "Bob" Ajisafe (born 13 April 1985) is a British professional boxer. He is the current Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion, having previously held the British and English light-heavyweight titles.

Professional career[edit]Born in Nottingham and now based in Leeds, Ajisafe turned professional in 2007 after a successful amateur career, winning his first six fights. In 2009 he competed in the Prizefighter tournament, losing in the quarter-final to Carl Dilks. Wins over Ovill McKenzie and Phil Goodwin in 2009 set him up for a challenge for Tony Bellew's Commonwealth title in September 2010; Bellew took a unanimous points decision despite being knocked down in the fourth round.

Ajisafe's next fight was against Darren Stubbs in July 2011 for the vacant English light-heavyweight title, Ajisafe winning after a cut above Stubbs' eye forced a stoppage. He successfully defended the title against Travis Dickinson in December 2012.

In March 2014 he met Dean Francis for the vacant British light-heavyweight title, taking a unanimous points decision. He subsequently beat Leon Senior and in November 2014 beat Matty Clarkson to win the MaxiNutrition Knockout Trophy.

In January 2015, Commonwealth champion Enzo Maccarinelli was ordered to make a mandatory defence of his title against Ajisafe.
